My son Nolan was born on Friday 10:51 PM. Everyone healthy and half and tired. I won't be around for the next few weeks.

I put the ancient sticker on the new computer build, and the new sticker on the one with ancient parts inside, so that if a thief breaks in who knows about computers, he'll steal the wrong (old) one, instead of the good one. Ryzen is running in a 16 year old case with an Athlon XP sticker on it... lol

@Springheel: At least when reexporting a lwo model, for example after rotating or rescaling it, edges that were formerly smooth show up hard. This implies that the orientation of the vertex normals have changed. It appears that the exporter uses the facet normals as vertex normals.

Select what you want as a model and go to file->export selected as model. You can choose the format and some other stuff. Note that the lwo exporter is buggy in regards to vertex normals, though, at least when exporting models.

Had this myself for two times. But mine always dissapeared after some infusion at the doctor. One per day for a week. Both appeared after beeing at concert. Got very cautios after that.

How many floppy disks would it take to store the dark mod and all its missions?

The latest ones I remember could store a bit over 3MB. If Mr. Bohr is right with the size we would talk about 3600 disks.

Slowly getting back to modeling and editing. Also, just switched to a trackball, which I find more and more comfortable to work with.

I am using a trackball for several years now, and it is definetely superior to a normal mouse imho. And much less demanding to your wrist.

I don't hink the comparision with the painting suits here. As said, the whole point of modding is 'modifying' things. In addition, you normally don't destroy the original source, but work with a copy. Regarding your second point, we avoid using assets that are protected. This includeds everything you have to pay for.

Well, the licence TDM is under already states that everyone can do anything with it. I think the assets fall under same licence, not sure. However, if you are releasing something for free anyways, why do you care what others do with it?

Money is worth what you consider it to be worth. I wouldn't overestimate it's usage. I prefer free time and relaxation over bling bling, but that is a subjective decision.
