How linear are the story missions? I get the impression that they are very much that and very short to begin with.

After watching the Totalbiscuit review, it looks like there are a lot of loading screens, and having just replayed HL2, that sounds like it's going to be very annoying.

@Baal remember that lockdown mission they posted that was 17 mins? Well I spent 2 hours on it. The missions all end the same but there are usually multiple entry points
