  1. Combat easy: And we just had this discussion for like 10 pages, and got nowhere. For most of us it's second nature at this point, others, still find it difficult because it's not as forgiving as Thief 1/2 blackjacking. Wesps has a patch that changes AI behaviour and KO rules a bit to make it more forgiving, check it out.
  2. Drivers and continued support has always been Intel's Achilles heel. We'll see, they poached some world class people from a bunch of companies.
  3. Second shot isn't reflection from what I can see. Looks great, and biker will take great care of the mission.
  4. I'm currently running a Ryzen 5900X and Nvidia 1080ti, and in Iris I'm getting around 160-200 fps with almost all settings cranked. On my main desktop, I'm using an Intel 12700k and Radeon 6800XT and get about 200-240 fps on Iris with same settings.
  5. Interesting, the original demo runs at 14,000fps on my computer. I can't imagine how much faster his optimized version runs at.
  6. Man Humus's website is a treasure trove of code: http://www.humus.name/index.php?page=3D&ID=45
  7. I was mostly posting it cause he includes the source code for implementing it. I didn't realize til after that humus switched to Directx11 instead of OpenGL.
  8. @stgatilov This might be worth looking at: http://www.humus.name/index.php?page=3D&ID=92
  9. As far as I know you should only use twosided shaders on patches, as the back side of the patch is not rendered. Brushes should use onesided shaders.
  10. An LWO is a model format, so you can't manipulate it like that in DarkRadiant as it's not brushes and patches anymore.
  11. I like fractal's cases, great airflow. This case has a non removable metal shield the covers the power supply for "looks". The EVGA power supply I bought has super stiff cables and getting everything bent around and into the modular power supply was such a pain, I still have nightmares about it. It took me 8 hours almost to get the computer built.
  12. Darkradiant is a separate project located at this GIT repo:https://github.com/codereader/DarkRadiant Holy crap, just noticed this on the git repo: Initial fork of GTKRadiant SVN respository 17 years ago Damn, it's been a long time
  13. Yeah it was really nice and sad seeing that in game.
  14. My apologies for my part in highjacking your thread.
  15. Also found it pretty comical that he would refuse to upgrade his OS and Hardware, but in a post about making models, told people to buy new computers.
  16. No, what I mean, if I'm doing a section and it takes 2 minutes, and I screw it up, I have to do it over again. If I save every 20 seconds, I only have to redo the last 20 seconds. And having a recent quicksave has given me the confidence to try daring and risky stuff, and has allowed me to better learn the games mechanics instead of always playing it safe, in fear of screwing up an entire game session.
  17. I very much dislike redoing sections in games, especially more than a few times, so I quicksave scum in almost all games that support it.
  18. There fixed your post for you. That's all you need. All the other text is superfluous. Also, yes, it looks good.
  19. Only from behind....kind of. You can still hit the sweet spot when at the side.
