Neither do I use it for scoial network nonsense, but what I do expect is for the profile layout not be all over the place and haphazard. For example its so bad that when someone leaves a comments on a profile, the comments box then changes the actual layout of the profile..

 

Which is why i have deleted comments on my profile, but even still it is all over the shop - see attached.

At the bottom of a norum page next to English (USA), change your "TheDarkMod - Fixed" to "--TheDarkMod - Liquid". Looks like the profile stuff doesnt deal well with the width limit that the default style has... I also don't understand fixed width if you're browsing from a PC :)

Maybe you have too much friends or you should add 'last visitors', when I watch your profile it looks fine, though.

 

edit: I just wanted to create a Test-comment to see how it looks then, so don´t wonder about the comment. ;)

You can also disable comments and other stuff like friends etc in the profile settings.

yeah but it dosent remove the comments box itself. I don't mind having all the boxes I just want them to auto arrange in proper fashion, not all over the bloody place.

Here, that´s your profile how it looks on MY TV!!! The crappy quality is of course due to compressing, so you don´t have long load times...

 

Maybe you messed around with your browsers zoom-options? Although I use a zoom with 129%, it still looks right, in Liquid of course.

      I tried to upscale the TDM logo video. First try:

      briefing_video.mp4 You can test it ingame by making a copy of the core tdm_gui.mtr and place it in your-tdm-root/materials/ , then edit line 249 of that file into the location where you placed the new briefing.mp4 file.
      What I did was I extracted all the image files, then used Upscayl to upscale the images using General photo (Real-Esrgan) upscale setting and then turn it back into a video.
      I might have to crop it a bit, the logo looks smaller on screen (or maybe it's actually better this way?). My video editor turned it into a 16:9 video, which I think overal looks better than 1:1 video of original.

      The FAQ wiki is almost a proper FAQ now. Probably need to spin-off a bunch of the "remedies" for playing older TDM versions into their own article.

      Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )
