Can AI patrols be randomized?

When AI walk by one another or are in the same vicinity do they acknowledge one another or interact?

I've seen AI take out food and eat. Do they do other idle things?

I noticed that the player does not project shadows. If he did would AI react to shadows cast by the player?

I haven't seen it yet but do AI react to blood puddles?

Can you push AI to the point where they constantly search for you and the entire household is on alert?

Do AI cluster together in search parties to find intruders once there is a alert?

Can AI be programmed to have shifts? Allowing the player to take advantage of sometimes impassable sentries?

Can AI turn on and off light switches to say check a room?

AI IDEA: certain AI such as town guards carry whistles.

The only limits your imagination has are the ones you set.

Yes, AIs will acknowledge each other. The player can be set to cast a shadow with pm_showplayershadow (I think), but again we have the problem of the player model not being fully animated so it won't look natural. I don't think the guards will notice that because it is not intended to be enabled.

AIs will notice blood puddles and weapons lying on the ground and go into alert mode. They can also be set to turn on/off light switches. They will (as of 1.07) work more closely with each other to stop the player. They warn each other of intruders and search together.

and if you do a lot of damage to most AI, they will retreat.

Shadowhide I havent seen you contribute one useful piece of information, only hostility so kindly butt out. And I will from now on go to wiki for my answers rather then start discussions on this oh so busy forum.

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!
