  1. Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it.
  2. Yes, but sometimes it is very short and difficult to spot.
  3. Discovered another in The Gatehouse. Torchlight is leaking through the stairs
  4. I noticed that ghostly door too last time I played. Theo's not around these days but I very much doubt if he'd mind if you just plopped some clip over it.
  5. I don't think they're mutually exclusive. A well designed coding standard tends to promote clarity. Still, there's inevitably oddball cases where you can make the code clearer or more efficient by breaking the rules and then you should definitely break the rules.
  6. Although consistency is nice, if it's a choice between clarity and consistency I choose clarity.
  7. Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. There were definitely a lot of effects in that mission that worked better in my head than I was able to achieve in the engine. But every mission I make is more technically accomplished than the previous, so yay for progress.
  8. I'd avoid messing with the style, but doubling the number of distinct steps would be nice. Currently it seems too coarse-grained for me.
  9. Uff... hard-coded "magic numbers" like this always make me uneasy.
  10. Cool mission; a lot better than I remember from the first time I played it years ago. I think I got put off by the empty streets and weirdo thief pointlessly guarding a sewer. I had a lot of fun this time round. The plague ruin section reminded me a lot of Haunted Cathedral in T2 and the haunted hospital in T2X. Not sure I needed 30 noise arrows in my loadout though!
  11. I'm seeing the same thing in Dragons Claw, a big chunk of skybox right here:
  12. Very interesting unusual gameplay mission! I found two non-interactable fork-mines. Do they have any meaning?
  13. In case you're still tracking and fixing light leaks, I found the following in Poets and Peasants: The first picture is dev16814-10408. The second picture is dev16809-10394. Something must have changed between those two devs.
  14. I like to imagine that Tasteless Bert is at least acquainted with the guy in The Black Mage with the ... unique... taste in cakes.
  15. Took the opportunity to give this excellent mission another playthrough. I'm pretty sure I found all the new loot items too! There's one I can see but can't figure out how to reach 0.0
  16. Really nice mission! I finished in just under two hours with a total loot of about 6,000 and found all five secrets. Admittedly, one of them was a really lucky frob. Congratulations on the release. It's a really fun mission.
  17. Congratulations on the release! Downloading now!
  18. I'm pretty sure that mission established the lore, yeah. But I also vaguely recall another mission that uses it as well.
  19. Let me just say that I like the current save system as it is, and I wouldn't support any changes to it.
  20. Submerging in water is turning the screen pitch black and opaque for a lot of Linux users.
  21. T2X is quite nice. The custom assets are very effective and I found the story pretty decent- not as solid as Dark Project but significantly more coherent than Metal Age. The only real rough edges were some of the vocals. Recording quality was a bit iffy here and there, and technical limitations meant that some conversations contained awkward pauses. It's a very high quality project and absolutely worth playing.
  22. Is there any reason you can't fill the fountain with a brush and turn that into a proper water entity?
  23. Outdoor areas can lag a bit because it's difficult to effectively visportal them. Indoors it's easy- just plop a portal in every doorway and hallway corner- but outside you have much bigger areas with longer sightlines and no obvious places to divide them.
