Just like with sales where they sell software for 50 %, or less, I won't complain. It's fair enough, I benefitted from sales, and I might have bought the one or the other software full price, when it was on a sale next week. These dynamics in economy are very important, and also are good for me as a customer. GTA 5 is 5 years old now. It's been on sale several times for 15 €. Actually, I already bought it two times, once from Rockstar directly, the other time on Steam to have it in my Steam library. Now I got it a third time for free. It's fine. Epic Games will have paid Rockstar Games half a fortune, that's for sure. Seems like they're really doing everything now to get their store running. No wonder. Very hard competition with Steam.
