  1. Hey, I saw discussion about the magic dude and how you had to take his magic bracelet before you can hurt him. Well, he was sitting on a chair in the kitchen and I sneaked up to him and knoked him out .. then I took his magic bracelet. I had to hit him twice because first hit he stood up, but the second hit, imedeatly after that, just knockt him out ...

    Also I saw that at some areas in the water works the water reflects the skybox: screenshot

      ohhh, I believe there is a visportal right there if I remember correctly. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.... hmmm. Well, I never expected this mission to be bug free, haha. I'll look into it as well as a few other issues and release an updated version soon(ish)

      Whoa! I wonder what causes that reflection error. You didn't perchance use "noclip" did you? I know that noclipping actually causes a few errors in this map, but since the player shouldn't noclip, its kind of a moot point. And in regards to the mage, there is a small window where you can get lucky enough to knock him out. The nodraw solid brush that i bound to him (his "protective shield") is not perfect, so I think we can chalk that up to the luck of the draw

      Good luck! Honestly, I think it feels pretty good to go back to a project after you've left it alone for a while. You look at it and see how much progress you've already made and get excited about to work on next.

  5. Has anyone else experienced this bug in 2.07, if you press escape or quicksave it mutes any AI who are in the middle of conversation.

      Yes, and it also happened in 2.06 too. A specific mission that comes to mind is when I was playing grayman's The Warrens

  6. 137 bugs fixed. 58 remaining. Only 30% of bugs left until a beta build for Shadows of Northdale Act 2 is ready.

      Since we're on the topic, is there a relevant wiki article that talks about converting brushes to LWO models? I can't seem to find one and I don't know much about that and I don't want to start doing it only to possibly do it wrong

  19. With help from Uberman and vanished, the large city mission that myself and Melan adobted is closer to beta testing. Would people like to see a a video version of "what are you working on" in same style of the Black parade..?

      Right!? That's what I'm saying. I spawned that door from the void. It should be flattered. But no, the door only rewarded me with crashes and problems...until I deleted it.

  22. Visportals are ruining my life!

      Thanks for the offer Bikerdude. Most of my map is outdoors so it's a little tricky and I did the rookie mistake of building a city block first without thinking of visportals. I'm going to do some hardcore adjustments and see what happens.
