Alpha test report of a sitting AI dying from a blackjack attack with the console showing 313 damage. The impact through him up in the air. Anyone else seen that?

I've seen this a few times when I haven't hit them quite right so they're alerted so I keep hitting them till they fall down. When I pick them up some have been listed as a body but some have been listed as a corpse. Sorry I don't remember what missions this happened.

I never had this but remember that it was hard to blackjack sitting AI´s at all.

Hmmm, I think I've had it once. You'll most likely find that it's caused by the sitting AI clipping into a static chair which is slightly too high or something, most likely tricky to fix :/

Exactly what Serpentine just said. I had this too... in the alpha, btw... but I thought it was after I had knocked said assailee "into" a solid (trying as described elsewhere to "do him a solid" by using the bj rather than slaying) and then grabbing him and "oh, shit, he died""... kind of thing.

Unless it refers to the 'fake' damage dealt by a blackjack: (I.E. 100 Blackjack damage = KO, 100 Sword damage = dead).

 

But if it was a loud death cry, this might have been G-force damage.

If the AI is going flying into the air then it's a physics issue. Probably the AI clipping into the chair when going to ragdoll mode, as mentioned.

Am replaying Alchemist and this happened when

 

I blackjacked the sleeping guy in the inn at the beginning of the mission. He let out a mournful cry that alerted the guy in red downstairs who came running. I BJ'd him and he was knocked out. When I picked up the sleeping guy he was listed as a corpse. I only hit him once.

Pretty sure that's another case of mixing atomic fusion. As in you knocked him into a solid and his solidified atoms were mashed up with other solidified atoms in the most unpleasant way.
