I gots me the deus ex package: dx1, 2 and 3 for 15 euros. A very good deal. I just recently finished all the games I bought for nothing from the steam christmas sale. Now I got enough to play until christmas again, I guess.

Yeah, at $2.50 I couldn't help myself. It's a great game and if your into Deus Ex, Thief or any other immersive sim it's definitely worth checking out. I don't think you'll regret it at that price.

I got Portal 2 for $4.99 and it runs great in Steam via Wine (after: nvidiasettings > disable forced antialiasing).

I also got a Band of Brothers game for either $2.49 or $4.99, I forget. It runs perfectly in Linux. That game is annoying, with crappy team AI.

Red Orchestra is supposed to work in Linux, but it doesn't launch for me.

Looking forward to the native Linux Steam client. Hopefully they will filter the store to display games known to work properly in Linux, either ported or with Wine.

If Skyrim wins the 50%-off user vote, I might get that next.

I must close my eyes and quickly close the window the next time I see the update news discounts.

I bough 10 games for 25 euros already. That's the limit. All deus ex games and all GTA games. Exactly when will I have time to play all these? Dunno, maybe takes a year or three to get them played?

ROFL, it was just last night that I voted on it. The sale must have happened while I was at work :(

I afraid to sleep longer than 6 hours after I missed what I was waiting for. This steam sales is the begining of insomnia. :)

Heard the same yesterday from a friend. I'm glad I don't have a steam account :D

Apparently, there is a whole sale-period during "German sleep time". I missed the Mirror's Edge sale because of this... GRRRR!! Was so happy it got voted!!

So on a regular basis I try to start building something in Darkradiant but very quickly I loose interest and give up.
      I tend to
create a room, position an ai in it (or first ai, then room, probably better) put a light in it Put some stuff in it test the room in tdm Now I had this new idea:
Start of with a gigantic room. To skip the importance of sealing for the time being and to think broader than one room. Then just use ground without wall, just to visualise the structure of the level.  Then just use prefab walls and other elements (arches, etc.). Just building area's that aren't enclosed. I can always close them at a later point. Maybe this is all very logical from a mappers perspective, but tdm is the first game where I have done any kind of real mapping and I always stop at the start. It just takes too long to make something exciting.
I want to build something at some point, because over time I accumulated lots of ideas.

It would be nice to have a link to the forum thread of a mission in download section, rather than having to search for it manually, like on Thief Guild.

Anaglypta , floral and damask wallpaper look great in older homes
It’s rare to see anyone using “shader not found” wallpaper in their house

Terribly difficult juggling map designing with work, but I'm still alive and chipping away at something very special. I'm actually making a collaboration of sorts with a friend, I make the map itself and he acts as my "Chief Scope Creep Consultant" that checks in every so often to make sure this project isn't getting out of hand. It's a good system!
