Anyone gotten this warning?

Every time I dmap I get this warning and then get a missing AAS warning when starting the map. There are indeed entities inside the map...no idea what it means by no outside. The map worked earlier...mostly I've just been monsterclipping this afternoon.

How many entities?

 

Are they all embedded inside monsterclip or w/in 16 units of the edge of a monsterclip brush or a worldspawn brush?

 

The error means that once the AAS areas were generated, none of the entities appropriate for that AAS size were found sitting inside any of the AAS areas.

I find it difficult to figure out how to place sitters so they're not close to worldspawn. These two AI sit perfectly well when there's no monsterclip surrounding anything, but of course then they'll treadmill into the table if the player crawls up there. Are there tricks for sitting in cases like this?

From my observation aas areas are generated in a way, so that they are roughly 8 doom units away from each path-blocking obstacle in the x and y direction. Path-blocking can mean monsterclipped brushes or worldspawn.

Do they sit on the table? I can't see what's behind them.

From my observation aas areas are generated in a way, so that they are roughly 8 doom units away from each path-blocking obstacle in the x and y direction. Path-blocking can mean monsterclipped brushes or worldspawn.

That's awfully tight to expect the sitters to always sit exactly where you want. Do they use path nodes to do their sitting, or are they always sitting there?

Put AI more far away from the benches. Maybe 16 or 32 units.

Give spawnarg "sitting 1"

Give spawnarg "sit_down_slide_dist" with a large enough number, maybe 16 or 32.

Monsterclip models as normal.

 

Edit: it may be that the sit_down_slide_dist must be given to the AI instead of the path node. Cannot remember.

      Things have been so bad these days for me...
      Just a year ago, I've been feeling dizzy, I thought it was nothing, today's stress, that type of thing, went to sleep...Still dizzy! 9 more days dizzy, went to doctor (I would have gone on the first day if NOT for the long appointment time)
      Said it may be Neck Dizziness...I did exercises for 6 months, no changes.
      Went to a Physical Therapist, went to another, no changes.
      I've asked my doctor for a full check this time.
      I hated yesteryear so much due to personal reasons, this year might be the same.
      To be brutally honest, I'd rather have cancer or/and chronic pain than suffer dizziness any second longer, especially when nothing helps.
      Hard to enjoy Thief when you're dizzy so I was hoping this year, Winter will be best for me.

      Is there a script command to make a screenshot?
      I just though it could be interesting to be able to create a screenshot at a certain point in time. Then use that screenshot possibly in a debrief.
      I guess the second question is: Can you use a (in-game made) screenshot in a (debrief) gui?
