I've just learnt how to play I need Your Love so Bad by Fleetwood Mac. This just might be the most beautiful thing I've ever played on the guitar.
-
My entire library seems to have dissapeared on Photobucket WTF?
-
I got a notification that I hadn't logged into it in a year so they were going to kill my account.
Did you get an email from them and it got filed under junk mail?
-
I just used it the other day to upload my tie machine pic. Prior to that I've been using it at least once a month. It's not the end of the world. Unfortunately a lot of my posts on this forum won't make sense anymore as they refer to embeded Photobucket uploads and I can't be fucked to re-upload my entire library.

I saw them with Tony Martin era Black Sabbath. My friend visited me the next day to confirm whether he was the only one still having trouble hearing the next day. We were both afraid we would never hear the same again. I don't have tinnitus but I'm certain my hearing test results have been lowered.
-
Needless to say, he blew Black Sabbath off the stage. Tony Martin had to resort to sing-alongs of classic Sabbath tunes to generate any crowd reaction.

Building of Dark Mod opera house: 99% complete. Composition of super funky classical guitar music to accompany TDM opera house: 100% complete. Glasses of wine consumed: 2 (more to follow:))

Awesome work!
-
I'd love to rob an opera house
-
It also comes with a phantom in the basement. It's amazing what you can do with triggers, teleporters and a sick imagination

Mother Nature Sings! The wind against my walls is a thousand violins crying for what could have been for mankind! The wheelie bins in my street crashing is the sound of drums beating to the rythym of judgement day. Sing mother nature! Sing your sweet symphony as you eradicate us away to rthe sweet melody of your destruction!

@Dring in the rain - :-D
-
@ Goldwell:I always save in revisions eg opera house1, opera house 2 etc. So if I fuck something up I can just copy and paste it from a previous revision.
-
the clever people that look after my office have made a huge board that bullet points how to use stairs safely. Where have they put it? Right in front of where people get off the office bus so people can go crashing into it as soon as they exit the vehicle. The board that highlights safety is actually a safety hazard.

Aparently we are all childering with no motor skills or hand-eye coordination.
-
My boss said that the company is worried that if people get injured at the work place they will sue the compsny for being a dangerous work environment so they are shoving all this safety crap down are throat. They have really gone over the top with it and are just being silly now.
-
Yeah....that sucks.

I had a go at writing the soundtrack for the current WIP (the opera house FM) I'm working on with Biker. It didn't turn out quite as ambient as I had hoped but I'm still pleased with the results. So I thought I could turn this into a side quest. In addition to stealing the Lute of Oralaphalese there is the option of finding all pieces of Oralaphalese's missing syphony. Every time the player finds a piece some classical guitar music that I composed will get played for a minute.

Yep, that sounds great! You play and get to hear original music.
-
Ah, it is normal for the author be supercritical about their own work. I'll wait to hear the pieces (and play the mission of course) with great eagerness.
-
SirTaff is actually quite good on the guitar :-)
-
Watching favourite movies from childhood past. The characters that used to be much older are now much younger. It's a strange experience. Apparently I will not stay young forever just like everyone else.
-
I love my new delay pedal! I have a glass of wine, dim the lights at night, play some jazz or the blues and fade into the night. Pure bliss

It is tempting to see the map early but I would rather wait for a polished and finished version, thanks though!
-
No probs! Shackles re-attached but glass of wine and guitar plugged into delay are in hand
-
Good juggler, are you?
-
I'm tryfing to clean my flat up and am really struggling. Apparently everything has a purpsose and it's location is completely logical. It's chaos but's it's organised chaos.

It's a tough job when there're no quick wins. Set yourself a firm 5pm deadline for making some progress after which you go for a beer
-
Despite all our struggles, in the end, entropy will claim everything.
It is a comforting thought, is it not?
-
So comforting that now I definitely need that beer
-
I went for an eye test yesterday as the vision on my right eye has considerably deteriorated over the last few weeks. Apparently I don't need glasses but they acknowledged that there's something wrong with my right eye so they referred me to an eye hospital? Is this a good thing or not?

Thanks for the kind words people. I know I'm not the best TDM FMA but nevertheless I love making maps for TDM and having to put this hobby on hold has made me very sad indeed. Hopefully it's nothing serious and I can get back to finishing my current WIP.
-
Thanks for all your great work!
-
I'm going to continue mapping. It might be difficult and i might be slower but I'll be damned if I stop myself doing what I want until my eye gets fixed.
-
I just have to build a courtyard and then I've finished all the building work on the manor for The Angel's Tear which is the prequil to the Vengeance for a Thief Maps. The manor is bloody massive! A Hell of a lot bigger then I orinally intended. Hopefully it will provide a few hours of fun.

Nice.
-
There's 6 pictures in the What Are You Working on Thread. I don't want to spoil any more of the map.
-
Good news!

A nice productive DR session. Time to crack open a bottle of wine and start watching the new series of Arrow

I take it you're not in the second season yet, Sir Taff? Because then all kinds of supernatural things start happening and it's no fun.
-
Wait do you mean Season 3..?
Im waiting fore the first season of Flash to start.
-
I like Arrow. Season 3 starts on Sep 8 in the US.

Long Live Lord Flasheart.

Wonderful characters, the whole lot of them.

I'm probably reading way too much into this but is the broken glass in NuThief a shout out to Broken Glass Studios?

Well I was talking more about how you have to tread very lightly and carefully around broken glass or a bunch of thugs will run over and try to beat you up, but your story works too
-
Accurate analogy is accurate.
-
Not surprising when people act like gorillas in a china shop, threatening all the irreplaceable and preciousness as though it's all a dime a dozen, hahaha! Noise patches as free-product placement sounds exploitable, though!

It pains me to say that I'm going to have to put TDM level editing on the shelf for maybe the rest of the year. Work is going to be mega crazy and any spare time I have I want to use at the gym. I'll still always be here at Ye Olde Forum. I just want to thank Bikerdude, Sotha, Grayman, Obsttorte and many others who helped turn my ideas into FM s

@ Sotha: I agree. Boxercise is great fun and I do a lot of it with my personal trainer.
@ Biker: I don't want to abandon any of my maps as I love TDM level editing and I want to continue to do this once all this work calms down.
-
Will miss ya.
-
I'm not going anywhere. TDM forums is the best place to be!
-
I'm currently having a great time setting up some seriously messed up scripted events. They are so easy to make just by using triggers and teleporters.

Ooooh, this sounds like fun.

Well there is an awful lot of snow in the map...
