  1. Experimenting with TDM on Steam Link on Android. see topic http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/19432-tdm-on-steam-link-for-android/

Did the TDM team removed D3's internal Joypad feature? (tdm works only with systemkey binders for joysicks)

Thanks to shadrach, i got my joypad working in TDM on steam link!

  2. OS: Debian Sid PC specs: e3 1230 v5 32 gb ddr4 ram sapphire rx 480 asrock e3v5 gaming/oc mobo 2 ssd drives As the title says, trying to change gamma or brigthness settings have no visual effects ingame when launching the linux binary. I've launched the windows binary with wine 1.9.x, where it seems to work but this seems to be a workaround for this isssue. I've removed the xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu driver from debian sid, because it was causing signal loss on the hdmi output for the rx 480. Without this package, my other games that were failing are launching fine
  3. Reinstalled the game after resetting my PC and I forgot what I used in the in-game brightness settings, instead of sitting there trying to get the perfect lighting for the next 4 months I was wondering if you guys would be generous enough to share what you use. Thanks
  4. Did a great find today: Quake 4 mods for dummies. Now online readable. http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/5576-book-quake-4-mods-for-dummies/?p=412644

  5. I've played my far bit of TDM missions with gamma on 1 and brightness on 1 and I finally noticed how easy it would actually be able to see the player sneaking around in the dark if there was another player walking around as a guardr. So I finally decided to give the gamma and brightness guide in the training mission a fair amount of effort to get the "best" settings for an immersive experience. After a couple minutes of re-reading the guide and fiddling around with the sliders I was never satisfied. When I was sitting in the corner to the right of the book I kept the darkest corners of the room and the torch in my FOV. When I got the dark corners dark enough to the point where I could barely make out the individual bricks (e.g. "realistic"/immersive), so that if I was a guard looking in that corner I wouldn't see shit if the player was sitting there if I'm just strolling by like most guards in the game, but the torch was incredibly dark or the colors were messed up. So I was thinking, what if there was 2 sliders, one that basically made the "darks" darker and the "lights" lighter individually. I think that contrast basically does what I just said, but if you want to have near black corners e.g. "realistic" to the point where if a real person was walking by that hallway they wouldn't see you, the flaming torch is now going to give off just as much light as a zippo. Anywho I don't even know if its possible to have a slider that just adjusts the dark areas of the game and another for the light. If anyone knows what I'm missing when trying to get the brightness right some help would be greatly appreciated.

  7. Is it possible to copy the file with the settings info on so I don't have to configure controls when I re-install? Which file would it be? Thanks

I've found it difficult to find where TDM is listed as #1 on Greenlight. This page ( https://steamcommunity.com/greenlight/ ) has no ranked listing. This one ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=858048394 ) has no visible rank or stats page. Is it my script blocker?

  8. Hey, Every time I've try to use the Full Editor when PM'ing someone, and every single time I get an error. Whoever is in charge of the forum, is it possible that this could be fixed? Thanks Neon
