Bug: Segfault Crash

I want to make sure that you devs don't miss the conversation that was just had in the fan mission "Who Watches The Watcher".

Some guy got a segmentation crash, and it's likely linked to the card playing default animations, where card entities keep getting destroyed over and over. More details can be found in that thread. Here is part of the guy's log:

Instead of continuously destroying the cards, just have one card, turn it invisible, and move it back to where it is supposed to become visible again. This goes for all animations: Don't keep destroying entities if you have pointers aimed at them.

I am that guy. The crash is easy to reproduce, when going close the particular area, at the "greasy hog". However, the crash does occur seldomly on the court with the fountain too.
I experience segfaults here and there, not often and usually not reproducable, but rather random. I am on some older hardware, Lenovo T420s currently running Ubuntu 20.04.
DeTeEff the author of WWTW send me a version where apparently the card animation is not or differently implemented. I did confirm, that the segfaults are still reproducable. That might be an indication, that it is not, or not only the card playing animation.

I've set every entry in darkmod.ini to 1, here is the console dump:

Actually, the setup of the animation doesn't matter, if the bug is in the animation script itself. I didn't think his fix would work, but it was worth a try.

The best thing that you can do to help figure out the cause for this, is play until you get another crash, and this time do a crashdump before closing the dialog window.

I could link you the article again, but I just read there that it isn't yet written for Linux, so maybe there is an external article that you can find on how to do this.

The console spam about creating/destroying props during animations affects all prop-using animations in all missions, as a core bug. So if it were related to the card animation, the problem may also have occurred in other missions.

The final error that causes the crash seems to have to do with deleting a moveable item and occurs after an attempt to destroy a prop, which would speak for a problem with the prop.

The ingame visibility of such props is working as intended IIRC, so the problem may be limited to the console and behind the scenes code.

I don't know whether this was a segfault or not, because the qconsole log just ends abruptly, but I started try to shoot fire arrows, and the game crashed after a while, which it has never done before since I updated to 2.10. (I'm on Windows.)

Also try shooting fire arrows when the attack button is your middle mouse button. What you'll get 99% of the time, is the bow readying animation playing, without sound, and the bow then being lowered again. You have to somehow click the mousebutton, and then click-and-hold it again, to somehow fake out this effect.
