Any chance for a higher res version (1680x1050)? Anyway, this looks totally awesome. If it had our thief character on the right, I'd vote for this going straight to the website. :)

I think a pagan (based on Springheel's concept) fits better in that kind of environment.

And here's your 1680x1050. Enjoy!

I would love to see someone use that as inspiration for a map. It would be great to show a side by side comparison.

Good idea. Maybe I should create an artwork that is more easily doable in DM and then some of you guys can create a location based on it. I'm thinking about doing something with sewers right now :)

Nice atmoshpere, but i think if you are to do something for us to build it would need to be a "full' scene.

Like a tunnel with multiple offshoots. pathway, waterway, pipes. drains, maybe some basic machinery (pump, water tank). rats.

Dark is the sway that mows like a harvest

Nice inspiration for my sewers map, this forum section is new to me is not?

Heh, I started building that concept myself but it's stalled at the "modelled in Blender but can't be bothered to export and faff around with material shaders" stage.

That vaguely reminds me of the existing Bonehoard map. :) I think it's the alcoves (though I guess there are supposed to be windows there) and the different floor levels that does it.

How about those wallpapers for the mod ? Got some screenshots I can use? What I'd like to do is take a screenshot and basicly paint over it - modify the location, add details, atmosphere, remove the sterile render look etc.

Has anyone had any luck with textures from Polyhaven? Their OpenEXR normal maps seem too washed out and give incorrect shading in the engine.

I tried to upscale the TDM logo video. First try:

briefing_video.mp4 You can test it ingame by making a copy of the core tdm_gui.mtr and place it in your-tdm-root/materials/ , then edit line 249 of that file into the location where you placed the new briefing.mp4 file.
What I did was I extracted all the image files, then used Upscayl to upscale the images using General photo (Real-Esrgan) upscale setting and then turn it back into a video.
I might have to crop it a bit, the logo looks smaller on screen (or maybe it's actually better this way?). My video editor turned it into a 16:9 video, which I think overal looks better than 1:1 video of original.

Finally got round to publishing a tutorial on baking normal maps in Blender, since most of the ones we have are inaccessible or years out of date.
