I'll try to easen the setup a bit more, and will then post an explanation in my mapping thread. If it is assumed easy enough, I'll also create a wiki article.

This brings me an idea. Is it possible to make non-stiff cloth the same way like rope? You would have small squares that would be knit together forming a mesh. Maybe they could be made to sway with the wind. Or push aside as AI walks through them.

Nope, they use different keys.

TDM is a mod, so eventually different weapons will be added, and could be grouped under one key -like readables key or keys key.

Such things had to be implemented into the code. This can't be scripted.

I don't know what "touch with hidden symbols" means, but I will post an detailed explanation of this effect in my mapping thread tomorrow, so everybody can look how it is done. It is actually quite easy.

It's as if there were this near-imperceptible whisper carried by the wind, and suddenly indentation takes up my thoughts.

Soon there will be an Indentation Guild in TDM. If you manage to sneak into their meeting place, you hear constant talk about the subject and see plenty of example code in their library.
In one of the missions you are asked to sneak into a rival library and indent all their books for the greater good.

Eher sporadisch. Mir fällt übrigens gerade auf das ich die Community Reputation "Deity" habe aber nur sechs Follower. Zählt das schon als Sekte?

Dann zahle ich gern zu deiner Sekte wenn ich mal hier bin! :) Ich wünschte ich hätte mehr Zeit, umso mehr hoffe ich, dass du uns treu bleibst und mit weiteren tollen neuen Erfindungen bereichern wirst! Im Ernst, mit deiner Hilfe war sehr viel möglich, ich würde mich freuen wenn du weiter für die TDM Community da bist.

Yeah, it's a series. But it is not mainly intented to be some sort of learning video, at least not fully. I guess people who are not that advanced in mapping may be able to learn something from it, though. However, basic mapping skills are needed to understand everything that is going on.

Personally I prefer working on larger maps. I like having a large project on the go that I can sink my teeth in to and get emotionally invested in over time. Even though more work is involved I think I have more of a chance of finishing a larger project because I'm more motivated. Thats just me though.

Yep. I guess this depends on the mapper. But in the end it's all about motivation.
