Life is too short to waste it in clarifying how glorious our police should be. Nobody owes nothing to anybody. I learned the hard way that if someone gets beaten in the street it's often not worth it to intervene because we're not super heroes. Owning a gun is just for your personal safety. Nothing less, nothing more.

In general, the problem with gun ban advocates is that they point to studies that fail to capture the big picture.

Anyway, i don't think we will agree on the gun thing. I can only say again that tools to kill people are not to be distributed to the common people, in my opinion. Guns don't save people, they kill. A healthy justice system, and executive authorities are the way to go, in my opinion.
