Hey, Every time I've try to use the Full Editor when PM'ing someone, and every single time I get an error. Whoever is in charge of the forum, is it possible that this could be fixed? Thanks Neon

I'm wondering if anyone ever checks new posts in the Fan Missions Forums? I've posted 4 questions asking for help for 4 different missions that I can't finish because I"m stuck, and I don't get any help. I posted a question this morning so I don't expect an answer right away for that one. Its frustrating because I would like to finish them. I've read through the posts for each mission and I'm not getting anything from them. If there's someone who could help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks I guess I'm spoiled from the TTLG forums.

Hi all, me again Now that I've learned how to take screenies on DM (thanks to Aluminumhaste) I wanted to post one that I took but I got an error saying that the image ext that I used was not allowed in these forums, It was .jpg so I changed it to .png and I got the same error again. They're on Photobucket.

Are there any FMs that involve a lot of climbing/verticality (not sure if word)? I think the mantling system in TDM is absolutely brilliant. I played 'Swing' and really enjoyed it. Thanks

Guys, any tips on making a window climb-in-able please? I have a window high on a wall, meant to be accessed via ivy. I've spent about 8 hours trying to get it to work well! The window is not too small: standard 40x36, and the player sometimes makes it through from the ivy right now, and always when I add a platform to stand on before crawling through. I'm finding two problems: The player can't climb into the window except by perseverance and dumb luck. Usually he bounces off the sill or jumps up and down uselessly in front of the open hole. The player can stand on top of my ladder_foliage brush, as well as run along the top of it. Not realistic. If I make the ladder_foliage too tall, the player will always jump up past the window when trying to mantle in. NB the ladder is not blocking the window, this is just what happens when I take the ladder brush all the way up to the sill. If I make the ladder end too low, the player will stand on it and still won't be able to enter the open window. If I make the ladder a wedge with a sharp top so it's too thin to stand on, the ivy patches poke through and interfere (even though I've converted them to an FS with solid=0 and noclipmodel=1). If I flatten the ivy patches, they z-fight. I've also tried: making the ladder brush nodraw except for the front face (player still stands on it) making the ladder brush a non-solid FS (disables it completely) reworking the ladder layout so that the player gets to the window sideways instead of from below (only works with an unrealistically wide sill) making the window frame and windowsill nonsolid (helps the player's chances of getting in, not consistently enough though) using a thin brush or wedge of playerclip to stop the player standing on top of the ladder (screws up the climb completely) ...and goodness knows what else. I know I could use a balcony in place of the (working) very wide windowsill, but that just wouldn't fit this particular building. It needs to be a plain, flat window. Hoping not to abandon the idea! Am I trying to force the game to do something it doesn't want to, or is there a solution or a working example in a map that I can go and study?
