    So I recorded a playthrough of No Honor Among Thieves and decided to upload on youtube. After a couple of eras I have two problems: it didn't upload because of some weird bug with login account that will make me probably reupload, but that's not what I want to ask here, and it thinks I'm using copyrithed music. It automatically replaced it with some stock music. Anyway, I can dispite the claim using one of the following options: I own the CD / DVD or bought the song online. I'm not selling the video or making any money from it. I gave credit in the video. The video is my original content and I own all of the rights to it. I have a license or written permission from the proper rights holder to use this material. My use of the content meets the legal requirements for fair use or fair dealing under applicable copyright laws. The content is in the public domain or is not eligible for copyright protection. Which one do you guys recommend? PS: I started this playthrough for fun but, jeez, it's not worth the trouble.

      I've been considering reinstalling TDS for a wile now... I've still got my original CDs. Have these guys fixed the bug where you get stuck floating? Last time I played TDS, that happened and I was unable to get out of it, so I ragequit.

      You can surpass that bug by drawing your bow, performing a shot, and draw your blackjack when the bow is tensioned, to abort the bow shot. I'm hoping it's fixed in the Gold patch too though. Alongside the thing where you move sideways, when peeking left or right.

      Export as portions as ASE

       

      Edit in Blender and export in TDS compatible format

       

      Import into T3ED

       

      Edit

       

      Release TDS mission...

       

      (or just stick with TDM)

    Architecture isn't my thing, so rather than trying to draw the city I've collected a series of photos. Each one captures something of the flavour of Bridgeport as I see it. These are meant to be used as inspiration for our mappers and modelers. People can feel free to include their own images.

      I don't normally even use signatures, but I've used a few to voice my displeasure at what EM is doing to Thief. I'll probably stick with that one until I lose interest in visiting the EM forums.

    Im playing around with skyboxes in D3 ROE and Im having a little trouble figuring out how to assign the material of portal_sky to a brush. I've looked through the TDM wiki but as these portalskies are not native to TDM or vanilla D3 there isnt much there. This probably stems from my lack of understanding of materials in general. I know they coorispond to class-definition like things in the code and you can create your own (I messed with creating textures as well), but as far as the editor Im a little stumped. To make a normal skybox you just go to textures/skies/ and pick one and it seems to happen automatically, but I cant find one for the portal_sky. I guess its important to note that Im just using d3radiant and not darkradiant right now (sorry if this is darkradiant only forum). The d3world wiki only says to do it but not how. Does anyone else know? Thanks for any help!

    Had a problem with the web server yesterday that led to a crashed table in the forum database. This has now been repaired and things seems to work again. I was on travel so it took a while before I was able to fix it. Merry Christmas!

    Yes, you are still viewing The Dark Mod Forums I've just finished the upgrade of our IPB Board Forums to the latest release. Packed with new features, rewritten code and all that. Have a look around. The skin is currently the default one, but will sooner or later be converted to a darker skin, to fit the Dark Mod universe. Also note that the forums have been moved from http://modetwo.net/darkmod to it's own sub-domain: http://forums.thedarkmod.com - all forum links will still work tho, thanks to Apache's rewrite-plugin. Please report any bugs, requests and comments in this thread. PS: The forums will run a bit slow the first hours as the cache is being rebuilt.
