Kurshok 64
As an idea for a mission, what about sneaking into a rich part of town's Zoo, sneaking past the guards, and stealing a rare animal egg for a cabal of beast smugglers? It would serve as a way to show off fantastical animals and normal beasts of the Dark Mod world. A lore sort of level.
demagogue 1252
I can't recall a zoo-themed FM in Thief or TDM off hand, so it'd be original fare that's for sure. Animating quadrapeds is a serious challenge. But it would be admittedly amazing if someone pulled it off. You know you could use some of your apparently boundless imagination & creative energy to actually make an FM one of these days... Quote What do you see when you turn out the light? I'm a console pissant. Nor do I have any idea how to code or program or map. But I figured I had a good backlog of ideas, and decided to share them here, like my idea of "journey to a flat planet" where you land on the side of the arctic ice wall of a flat world based on flat earther conspiracies, and encounter magical ice caves and white furred manbeasts. Dragofer 1355
I've done my first maps on an office laptop that got no better than 20fps, and mapping can be quite straightforward with no prior knowledge needed (unless ofc you want to add fantastical creatures that don't exist yet). Lots of great step by step video tutorials out there, like Springheel's. Where there's a will there's a way. 2 Quote FM: One Step Too Far | FM: Down by the Riverside | FM: Perilous Refuge Dragofer's Stuff | Dragofer's Scripting | A to Z Scripting Guide

demagogue 1252
I bet you could still make a 1- or 2-room FM in 30 minutes. But anyway alright, we can consider these threads as your creative contributions then. Quote What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine. chakkman 382
A TDM zoo level should have some burricks. Anyway, I'm not sure if a zoo really fits the dark middle age setting. At least I wouldn't really think about doing a zoo if I would create a mission. Edited January 10 by chakkman
