I have BF4 installed and play it about once a week. Origin is ballz compared to Steam. I could care less if the program occasionally sends system info pertinent to Origin's operation or a games operation. Most of those things you can turn off in the interface anyway which I do.
-
You can't be a gamer and not play half the stuff that comes out because it installs some middleware or interface. I want to sample everything. The most annoying IMO is Games for Windows but the Batman games are too much fun not to create a login. When you're done playing the game, just uninstall whatever and be on your way. Paranoia ruins quality of life. Get on with it.

I've been considering reinstalling TDS for a wile now... I've still got my original CDs. Have these guys fixed the bug where you get stuck floating? Last time I played TDS, that happened and I was unable to get out of it, so I ragequit.
-
You can surpass that bug by drawing your bow, performing a shot, and draw your blackjack when the bow is tensioned, to abort the bow shot. I'm hoping it's fixed in the Gold patch too though. Alongside the thing where you move sideways, when peeking left or right.
-
@Biker Hmm.
Build TDM mission in DR.
Export as portions as ASE
Edit in Blender and export in TDS compatible format
Import into T3ED
Edit
Release TDS mission...
(or just stick with TDM)

I could never get past the cel shading. Imo anything that wants to evoke a response other than humor shouldn't use it.
-
Consider this a playable comic, and you will see why this was the only thing that made sense. Also, so far, the story was about the best one of any computer game I ever played.
-
I think it works for The Wolf Among Us because that literally is a playable comic (Fables). I don't know, there was just huge aesthetic dissonance in it for me. It wasn't so much the cel-shading as the goofy models and animations.

Just bought Alan Wake on Steam with the few quid I got getting rid of a bunch if trading cards, cool!

AW is a fantastic game. The gameplay is mediocre and repetitive, but the atmosphere and the storyline is brilliant, and makes up for the gameplay limitations.
Great piece of art for a mapper to analyze to get inspiration how to conjure a gripping atmosphere and how to feed the plot in small spoonfuls, keeping the player hungry at all times.
Highly recommended, if you can get it for few euros!

Decided to try some games I picked up on Steam sales. Ended up playing through Call of Juarez: Gunslinger in one sitting. Absolutely the best shooter I have played in years. If you like FPS games even in the slightest and haven't played it - just do it. You'll thank me later.

Looking back, despite 2013 being a pretty bad year for PC gaming in general, it was a good year for FPS games with old-school spirit. We got Gusnlinger, Blood Dragon, Shadow Warrior, Metro: Last Light and probably a few others I can't remember now. Apparently the ROTT remake was good as well?

I got SW on steam when it was cheap a few days ago..

Well had a go at Left4Dead2 because it was FREE, but now I see why it was free.....

It's a nice game. But IMHO Oblivion and Morrowind were far better. The washed out the rpg extremely. And after a while it gets extremely repetitve (like the predecessors).
-
I agree. I liked Morrowind and (heavily modded) Oblivion. But after playing a "real" RPG (like The Witcher or the Fallouts etc.) I can't go back to this kind of game. They're boring, bland and repetitive in comparison.
-
I pretty much liek Skyrim more than Oblivion and Morrowind :x
