FCC ready to roll back and gut Net Neutrality issues

Recommended Posts

That was the ministry of truth bill. Bipartisan == scumbags who don't want Wikileaks or similar news sites (not tied to the Military Industrial Complex)

to expose real substantive truth about crimes perpetrated by legislators. Example: FEC violations in the Wikileaks releases that have yet to be prosecuted...

Net Neutrality is 2014:

If bet neytrality goes, the freedom of the Internet goes with it. We need to do EVERYTHING in our power to show Ajit Pai that he better stop this nonsense, and if he doesn't, then we'll make sure the rest of his pathetic life is miserable and suffers from eggings, dogshit being smeared on his car windows, keyscratched car, prank calls delivering 50 pizzas to him, etc...

Seeing as how he's already ignoring several MILLION comments on their own website, and listening to the pro-kill net neutrality which have shown that some peoples names were stolen to post them, I can't see how he's going to change his mind.

He was strongly against Net Neutrality when he was just a member and voted against it.

He quoted a graph showing that there was a dip in ISP spending after it went through and claims it's directly causated by Net Neutrality.

Couldn't POSSIBLY be because an election was coming up and a Republican had a good chance at winning the Presidency, so they were probably waiting to see what happened.

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

Are you pro-homophobia?

No. Sorry if I offended you. Maybe "a shit pie" is a better insult for him, since it sounds like his name and is a reference to that one movie where the black maid gets back at her racist ex employer by feeding her a pie with her shit in it.

On a kind of funny note, Google and Amazon are now fighting each other, (while putting customers in the middle). It goes like this. Amazon won't sell Google streaming gear, so Google is gonna block Amazon devices from watching Youtube!

It is funny, because the FCC is going to let the big ISPs sideline both of them by placing them at an artificial disadvantage to the respective video services that the ISP offers.

That idiot Pai is trying to get people to go along with his plan by playing with fidget spinners and foam dart guns whilst wearing 3d glasses and babbling memes. Meanwhile, a woman came forward and revealed the FCC is using her DEAD husband's identity online to try and smear pro-net neutrality videos and posts. I hope someone takes a swing at this smug MFer's face and shatters his facial bones.

This is really crummy, to say the least. :( My best wishes to the American forum members here. I hope this affects your daily browsing activities as least as possible. Can still someone attack this legally, as a violation of US anti-trust measures ?

While I wouldn't make a sacred cow out of net neutrality, I feel it has more benefits for the average, honest-paying user of the Internet, than it has downsides.

It's supposed to go into effect within 1 year. But until then many things can change.

"I really perceive that vanity about which most men merely prate — the vanity of the human or temporal life. I live continually in a reverie of the future. I have no faith in human perfectibility. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active — not more happy — nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. The result will never vary — and to suppose that it will, is to suppose that the foregone man has lived in vain — that the foregone time is but the rudiment of the future — that the myriads who have perished have not been upon equal footing with ourselves — nor are we with our posterity. I cannot agree to lose sight of man the individual, in man the mass."...

- 2 July 1844 letter to James Russell Lowell from Edgar Allan Poe.

I know. It would take a few months at least, and a whole year gives plenty of leeway for defending net neutrality.

While we in Europe (and plenty of other countries) don't have to directly worry, efforts like this set a bad precedent, especially given how large the US portion of the Internet still is even nowadays.

      Fm idea (braindump)
"Experience the life of a mission builder"
Esentially there are finnished elements placed somewhere in storage in the game and you have to place them in the correct places, build some walls here and there, add guard routes, give them their correct speech lines, etc. Decorate the places.. all in-game. lots of fun.. 😉
If you do it right in the end you can play the mission.
(would be even cooler if a thief-ai could play the mission, making it some kind of tower-defence game)
This first started as an idea for an aquarium builder mission where-in you have to fill an empty aquarium with sand, waterplants, castles water and swimming fish. But above idea is more fun.

Dear ChatGPT, What are The Builders in the Dark Mod?
The Builders is a popular game mode in the video game community called "Dark Mod," which is a fan-made tribute to the classic "Thief" series of stealth games. In this game mode, players assume the role of builders who construct structures in a dark and ominous environment while trying to avoid detection by patrolling guards.
The Builders game mode is unique in that it offers players the opportunity to create and design their own levels using the in-game tools and resources provided. Players can experiment with different building materials, construct intricate traps and puzzles, and create their own unique gameplay experiences.
While The Builders game mode is not an official part of the Dark Mod, it has become one of the most popular and well-loved aspects of the game, thanks to its emphasis on creativity, strategy, and stealth.
You guys did not know that, did you?
