I just finished Shadowcursed!

A year or so ago, after having set my mind in acquiring a Kindle to be able to read it,  I set out to finish Shadowcursed, a book based in a campaign here in The Dark Mod by Gelo Fleisher. I read through it over the course of a year or so. Sadly, due to my eyes not being what they used to be and extended reading now causing me headaches, I wasn't able to binge on it like I used to do with books in my youth. Instead, I read it off and on over the course of the time since I got it around the midpoint of the Covid 19 pandemic. Having finally finished it, I can saw it was a truly beautiful story taking inspiration from the original Thief trilogy by Looking Glass Studios! I'm glad I purchased it, and also glad that I finally brought myself to finish it despite the migraine behind my eye as I type this from extended hyperfocus of my vision even with my glasses. It had a thrilling, gripping story and a beautiful ending, and I'm glad I have experienced it now.

Huh, you just reminded me that I actually bough it ages ago and never finished it. I didn't have a Kindle but Calibre does have a decent epub reader so that's what I was using. Apparently I bought it in 2015 so I'm guessing it was either after Requim or A House of Locked Secrets that I bought it, guess I should get around to finishing it too.

@Moonbo We need another mission yo.

Well, with all the crazy crap going on in the world, I figured I should read it, just in case anything happened and I either died or electricity went out for the foreseeable future where I live. Unlikely, but with the wars and tensions these days...

The stories and story telling of Moonbo's missions are excellent (they're the best really in that regard IMO), and you can tell that he's a good writer.

I'm sorry to hear. Somebody should convert this to an audio book.

After finishing both fms I should start reading this.

Unfortunately Moobo retired from mission making. (AFAIK)

I do need to pick up that book, thanks for reminding me. I'd LOVE another Moonbo mission.
