Now that I've finished The Black Parade, I'm definitely open to checking out more NewDark era missions. I want to see what other ideas are possible now that the Dark Engine has been unchained.

I just finished that FM last night, and it was very good. I thought Nicked did a great job capturing TDS vibes using the Dark Engine. I have no idea how that mapper keeps pumping out maps so fast, he is basically a one-man FM factory

For T2 FMs, this list from a post is pretty good, starting with the ones in bold, but it leaves out a lot of the top rated ones on CheapThiefMissions, which covers classic FMs. At least the top 10 on that site are also must plays. (I think the link already takes you to the ordered list, but click the "Rating" button to make sure it's ordered by rating if it's not already.) And for recent FMs, there's the Thief Guild's top rated list.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

bathory campaign, the seven sisters, dracula reloaded, violent end of duncan malveine, calendra legacy/cistern

i bump up these FMs to top

I'm starting the Black Parade now but I would like to add a few mods to it like the Lantern mod and automatic key, I tried moving the files to the FM folder but nothing. Anyone has an idea if this is possible and how?

I'll check it out. :)

Last missions I really enjoyed (top notch): Behind Closed Doors (no, not the TDM one...) and Death's Turbid Veil (very interesting story and gameplay). Also played The Cinder Notes (nice one as well), and Heart and Soul (rather so-so, considering the IMO too high difficulty, and some scripting bugs).

I think they're using a very antique forum software. Might not even be possible for them to provide a mobile template with that software.

Well at least it has that early Y2K retro vibe which I like. But the scaling is very bad on mobile - maybe some day I'll apply custom css via browser plugins if I'm bored lol

There is a mobile theme, but it's very ugly. I'm never there, otherwise I would already customize it with stylus plugin.

Edit: There are actualy 2 mobile versions.

  1. The one you can access in the menu top-right. It links to http://ttlg.mobi/
  2. The one you can activate bottom-left in the main forum.

We're talking about something concerning his hobby though, and, I don't think you really have control over what others do, or should have control over that. Just do your own thing, and don't mind what others do. I don't see the problem.

You won't be able to prevent the use of A.I. anyway. It's everywhere these days, and, it's already been heavily used for TDM missions as well.

Walking away like he does, announcing it big and fat on social media rather shows a strong case of hubris, more than anything else.

I don’t know why seemingly you get so upset when people reply to your posts.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought it was you who got upset about my post.

Thanks, we surely can discuss this without people with "strong feelings about it". ;)

I have a feeling you have strong feelings about a lot of things anyway, at least when you try to be contrary again.

It would be nice to have a link to the forum thread of a mission in download section, rather than having to search for it manually, like on Thief Guild.

Anaglypta , floral and damask wallpaper look great in older homes
It’s rare to see anyone using “shader not found” wallpaper in their house

Terribly difficult juggling map designing with work, but I'm still alive and chipping away at something very special. I'm actually making a collaboration of sorts with a friend, I make the map itself and he acts as my "Chief Scope Creep Consultant" that checks in every so often to make sure this project isn't getting out of hand. It's a good system!

The post editor for the dark themes should be working again. Apologies for the inconvenience.
