I'm wondering if anyone ever checks new posts in the Fan Missions Forums? I've posted 4 questions asking for help for 4 different missions that I can't finish because I"m stuck, and I don't get any help. I posted a question this morning so I don't expect an answer right away for that one. Its frustrating because I would like to finish them. I've read through the posts for each mission and I'm not getting anything from them. If there's someone who could help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks I guess I'm spoiled from the TTLG forums.

Hi all, me again Now that I've learned how to take screenies on DM (thanks to Aluminumhaste) I wanted to post one that I took but I got an error saying that the image ext that I used was not allowed in these forums, It was .jpg so I changed it to .png and I got the same error again. They're on Photobucket.

Think this could be useable for TDM?

Where do you guys buy your digital music? I've always bought CDs or found "other" ways to grab my favorite songs. But now I'm looking for a place with good pricing and selection where I can buy new stuff digitally. DRM free of course.

I went through hell to get the mouse working. Turns out that any Icon\Text scaling will make it unplayable. Must have all destop attributes at native defaults. My eyes are not happy reading the tiny text and I don't want to lower my desktop resolution and have a blurry mess. Oh well. I can play now.

If you don't know what mixamo is, is a online automatic character rigging and animator, used by many game developers, there's many characters there and animations that could be used on TDM. https://www.mixamo.com/store/#/search?page=1&type=Character P.s - Only 20 animations and 10 rigs are free so be carefull don't spend it all on a single model, i did that now i can't download the dog, the wolf and the cat animations.

Now we wait for Crytek to the Free Engine/Framework party https://steamdb.info/blog/source2-announcement/ Source 2Source 2 will be free to all content developers. There will also be Vulkan support in Source 2, we'll probably hear more about Vulkan (and Valve's involvement) in the upcoming GDC talk. Valve have not mentioned licensing/royalty costs yet.

Any of them free for use? I'm bound to burn out on this project at some point. edit: stumbled on these to answer my own question. Here's a free medieval set that looks quite decent on first glance...can anyone take a look and see what format they're in? Do you have to have the unity editor to use them? GPU applied only to Octane render engine. For modelling and animating only CPU and RAM. GPU is a small PC with it own chip, that's why your CPU cannot has straight adress to GPU RAM and cannot be used in calculating processes for editor

Well... While true it's not always like that. I know for example that Maya uses GPU for viewport rendering and several other programs that have option for it as well (as long as your card supports CUDA).

RAM is the CPU's workspace. I would think that regardless of whether an application uses GPU compute, the majority of data will be loaded in RAM first for fast access either by the CPU or GPU.
