I'm trying to update darkmod from 2.03 to 2.05 and it seems to be in a continuous loop telling me to "continue" and "restart". It appears to be downloading a 1.5 mb file each time and most of the time it ends with 90% or so done. It has on occasion downloaded 100%, but the loop persists. Can someone please help? Rich

I've found it difficult to find where TDM is listed as #1 on Greenlight. This page ( https://steamcommunity.com/greenlight/ ) has no ranked listing. This one ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=858048394 ) has no visible rank or stats page. Is it my script blocker?

When playing The Dark Mod I can not use system keyboard shortcuts like Alt-Tab, Esc or Alt-F4. This means that the only way to exit the game is by going to the main menu and quiting there. And there is no way to just minimize it. This is extremely annoying, particularly when I accidentally click an other window after I run the game, but before it loads its window because that means that the game window will appear under the current window and it will lock my mouse and I don't see anything from it, my only option in this case is long holding the power button to turn off the computer. The another problem is that the brightness and the gamma slider does not do anything, there is no way to set them which makes the game annoying to play, because everything is very dark. When I was using Windows these never happened. If I run the .exe using Wine it has no problem (except that the frame rate is decreased to its half). Why is it happening? What should I do?

@Bikerdude, No, I'm buying Ryzen and Win10. I hate the fact that I can't just stay on Win7 indefinitely, but we'll all inevitably be there =(

@stgatilov Oh, so does it mean Ryzen does not support Win7, or it is because you would like to utlize DX12, or some other reason?

Frustration number four while working on the purchase screen. I am trying to add a blend effect to the object images. For some reason, however, if I point to a material file, the image will not be transparent. Instead, there are black (or white, depending on the blend mode I use) boxes around the image. The .tga itself is has a transparent background. If I use blend blend, then the transparency renders properly, but that mode just looks like the object is drawn on top of the parchment--it doesn't actually 'blend' with the parchment at all. Here's the material I'm using: And this is what it looks like: Oddly, the black doesn't fill the entire dimensions of the image. I know it's a longshot, but any ideas about why the blend modes aren't rendering the transparency properly?

Following on from the release of 2.05, we have released a small update to address some issues. Bug fixes - We have corrected some bugs in NewJob and St Lucia that were released as part of 2.05, to get the latest version of both mission's, players need only re-run the updater. Additional info - There have been no changes to the mod itself.

Hi, Got a new PC yesterday with a decent gpu (i5-4690+gtx960) so I'm keen to install & play TDM. I've tried the Arch AUR version but get the following output, Seems out of date. Any suggestions on how to install this on Manjaro (just like Arch) 64-bit?

After selling my Dell E6420 laptop my old Samsung 830 256GB is now spare, I currently have it gingerly plugged into the DIsk 1 sata port on the mac but its messy at best and the speed on the sataII port is using less than half the perf of the drive. So I beleive the best option is a PCI-E to SSD adapter card, and I found one on Amazon for £25, but that then raised the question would Mavericks/Yosemite boot from a PCI-E based drive..? Any info or links would be welcome.
