  1. Hi guys, through the "cheats" topic I got the idea, that it would be quite useful, if there were tags for missions (the post was about removing the killing restriction in some missions to suit the prefered play style). I don't know how easy or difficult this is, but with them, it would be quite convenient to pick missions with playstyles, environment, etc one does want to use. This could also be expanded to other mission properties. I remember a discussion about climbable drains, handles on doors, that cannot be picked and other things the map author chooses for himself. That way these things would be clearer and as I said before, it is easier to choose missions with playstyles that suit oneself. What do think?

Did the TDM team removed D3's internal Joypad feature? (tdm works only with systemkey binders for joysicks)

  4. Got my copy from Amazon yesterday: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047003746...6490020-7992016 The Doom 3 editing video tutorials were very helpful to me and got me started. But having a book open while I'm working, well there's just nothing better than that. I've even learned a couple of interesting things in just the hour or two I spent flipping through it I never managed to pick up from the video tutorials. It's a beginning book, just describes mainly the process of creating a map, the brushing, placing entities, lighting, creating textures. You won't find advanced scripting help or the like. If you're already familiar with mapping, even from something like Dromed, much of it is tedious and boring. A lot to skip through. A lot more if you're already somewhat familiar with Radiant mapping. I haven't read enough to recommend it yet, though I'm glad I bought it, personally. Really so far I wish it was a bit more streamlined. The lessons on creating a map are so detailed that it's easy to lose track of the process drowning in all the minutiae.

He changed ita long while back, it was so he was using the same name as he uses on other forums.

Protip: if you never log off and stay for ever, there is no nostalgia when you visit.

Indeed, it is great that technical matters - which many of us find hard to understand - are presented so clearly and with so much useful detail.

Just read through a chunk of that post, very expansive and detailed post. Impressive.

      Nice detail. thx.

  6. Saw TDM was included in this list on RPS. Not sure why it's only an "honorable mention" though: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2017/02/10/best-total-conversion-mods/

I've found it difficult to find where TDM is listed as #1 on Greenlight. This page ( https://steamcommunity.com/greenlight/ ) has no ranked listing. This one ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=858048394 ) has no visible rank or stats page. Is it my script blocker?

  7. Hey, Every time I've try to use the Full Editor when PM'ing someone, and every single time I get an error. Whoever is in charge of the forum, is it possible that this could be fixed? Thanks Neon

They have some absolutely fantastic looking caves. I wonder wether their assets are free to use.

I beleive the author told me way back, that once it was release we would be allowed to use their assets.
