This is not a feature request thread.

Is there a feature request thread?

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

I guess posts about helping people understand what this thread is not for kind of still count.

tdm_loot_stealth_stats.pk4

Why hasn't this been implemented in TDM ?
Sure, it replaces the loot number - but - couldn't it be given as an additional inventory?
As I recall, I came across it through Snatcher's Mod and tested both.
I think I had both installed at the same time (later deleted Snatcher's Mod - sorry for that)
And as I recall, they did not come into conflict !
It's pretty nice -because you learn when and why you are discovered and trigger suspicion.

Sure - in reality you won't always know about it - so some players won't like it
So my question is : Could it be implemented in the game settings - on or off

Personally the stealth counter feels like a diagnostic tool to me, which is at odds with TDM's design direction of a minimal GUI and moves focus away from audio and visual cues coming from AIs, towards a number in the corner of the screen. So I wouldn't have it enabled by default.

Adding it as an option in the settings would be possible, on the other hand. My approach would be to let the setting add or remove a stealth counter item to the inventory which shows stealth scores in real time, without altering the existing loot counter item and without adding a gimicky-feeling scroll + GUI popup.

(about : tdm_loot_stealth_stats.pk4 )
thanks for your comment --- hope you or someone else will put it on the teams " to be discussed - List "

I have another suggestion :  how about the possibility of locking a lock with the lockpicks
that would be a way for ghosts / sup.ghosts to leave places without leaving a trace of their appearance ;
while the other way around : a chest / door / box ....
 remains open ,
you would have to keep a key that you found in a room that you entered through a back entrance ,
and can leave through the door (which can only be opened with the key - could then be locked with a lockpick )

    ???

I'm back! Happy new years, TDM folks!
I brought with me a quick update for my first FM that fixes up a lot of small issues that didn't get caught in beta testing. I didn't exactly expect it to take me nearly 9 months to release a patch, but it's been a wild year to say the least. Teaching, finishing up my Master's of Education, and all manner of other events forced me to drop out of the anniversary FM contest and ate up all my time, but I'm back again in a comfortable position to start catching up on all the new FMs. I may even start work on another spooky project of greater length and difficulty in the coming year.
Thanks again for the warm welcome to the community and have a happy new year!

I got myself the apple tv trial subscription. I have to say, “Foundation” (season 1) is very exciting. Shall I read the books as well?
