Got hooked on DX:HR. Interestingly, TDM has far better AI. DX AI often seems like robots on rails: maybe they should read our wiki entry on RITs?

Deus Ex had always been a broad game. The stealth was never as good as Thief, the combat was never as good as Unreal, etc., but it had a little bit of everything. Same goes for DX:HR.

In its core, stealth gameplay is puzzle. Stripped from its context it's actually a pretty boring gameplay of avoidance and synchronization.
