Yes, the ideal is a well designed play space. I have seen, however, that improved patrols vastly improve the enjoyment and challenge of missions. Maybe GameDevGoro (another patrol whiz) will take-up that challenge...

Agreed, but... It is not rocket science to go ingame and check what patrols work and what wont't, adding some nodes, path_waits and path_anims for more flavour. The patrols could be improved easily by the original author. Or anyone with basic DR experience. But best situation is always the interplay between the surroundings and the patrols. To make the corridors narrow but wide enough. To make the lights bright but let there be just enough darkness.

1. I didn't have a go at Shadowhide (like he deserved) like the way you did at my myself.
2. I clearly stated that there were bugs etc in the announcement thread. You weren't forced the play...
