Catacombs:

...and spiral stairs:

You can find hunderts of castles in Czech republic, but Pernštejn is one of the best=) You can find pictures of Loket, Karlštejn, Bouzov or Rábí..

No pics to add but I am currently watching a movie on Hulu.com

It's called 'Day of Wrath' about the spanish inquisition (fiction). It's got some nice scenes in castles.

My wife spends a lot of time on Pinterest, looking for craft ideas for the children in her classroom.

So I asked her, "Do you think there's a page for medieval architecture?".

She said, "Sure!"

So I joined Pinterest, poked around a bit, and found this:

There are probably many more such pages on Pinterest. The challenge is to get in, find, and get back out before getting sucked into the site as a whole.

I grew up in the US as a closeted-European too. I used to always hang out with the European exchange students, and was into castles and knights more than cowboys and Indians. When I lived in Geneva for a little while, I was like a kid in a candy shop going to all those little Swiss & French villages on Lake Geneva with their old architecture and layouts.

Edit: I say that, but I got watching Red Dead Redemption videos today and that game is pretty awesome. So I like cowboys too.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

That's the bridge at Mostar! Beautiful area.

Guess it's a matter of taste, because to me that bridge looks like they built the bow first and then saw that it got too high.

Has anybody ever made an attempt to map anything that has been shown on some of the pictures?

That would be really fascinating to see.

Just asking ...

I'd say it's either Brasil or India, I used to be so into such pictures when I was awaiting Beyond good and evil 2(but it seems there is no point in being hyped about it for the next 10 years). Well for me it's italy that I love most now:

"Super Slope Jump" seems like a fitting name for this:

I also found an unintentional setup for it in my WIP:

Definitely too hard for Advanced Jump Training's main path, but it could make for a fun secret perhaps...

Well, this is just sad...I was not able to play any Thief or TDM whatsoever, why? Too busy the past 2 months, this month I'm not as busy BUT it's also very heaty in my place.
I can't play Thief when it's not at least 15c or lower, the game demands to be played when it's cold for...Well, may sound stupid but I'll just say it, for that "immersion".
It's kinda like playing Quake during Summer, which unless it's the Summer Jam mod, I don't think it's as fun.
