Got hooked on DX:HR. Interestingly, TDM has far better AI. DX AI often seems like robots on rails: maybe they should read our wiki entry on RITs?

I don't know... when it comes to stealth gameplay, previsibility is a good thing. You're rewarding the player's observation and planning.
Not saying RIT is a bad thing, when done right it adds realism and immersion without hindering the gameplay.

DX:HR's missions aren't made to be scoped out & explored, just consumed and moved-on-from. The idea of maps like a living world isn't in vogue these days.

Diego yeah, but DX:HR AI seem to have 3 or 4 path nodes max. Gameplaywise it is more like a puzzle than a true stealth game. I am just talking about the 1st factory mission. Maybe it gets better.
