I wish we had more of small bite-size FMs. I realized I don't have time to play grand multihour missions anymore... But nice 0.5-1h (1h max!) missions would fit perfectly to my evening schedule.

As much as I love Thief 1 and 2, the consistently shorter missions (45 to 60 min) of Deadly Shadows felt waaaaaaay better to me from a pacing perspective. I could actually complete more than one level in a typical session.

Bitesize missions seem to be quite the trend lately, with all those livestreamed speed builds and now the new mappers workshop. I have no concerns on that front.

I don't have a problem playing a long FM over 5 or 8 bite-sized sessions less than an hour or so. I think of it like reading a good book, and it actually draws out the experience so I can really soak in the details and let it capture my imagination for a period.
