    I just saw a reporter Ann Lucia whose name was pronounced Loo-chee-ah. I always thought it was Loo-see-ah. So what's the proper way for Tears of St. Lucia?

      I would pronounce it as suggested by Springheel. In german it would be LOO-ZI-AH.

      Even then I don't know if you mean the English zee or the German tsee. ;) Ok, mixed opinion, so I feel ok having my own way. (I think I have more Germanic in me, if anything.) I also put the stress on the 2nd syllable. Thanks everyone.

      depends on how you pronounce certain letters as to how it sounds, so for me its loo-cee-a
