I played all fm's once except Tears Of Saint Lucia (that still my favourite mission since second TDM demo ) ,NHAT mission 2 (because I wanted to complete all optional objectives ) and RttC (it give me feeling that I died in Thief 1 and wake up in Thief 1 on new newer engine ) .

I tend to replay shorter FMs more often - must have played Special Delivery and Thieves at least a dozen times. But large ones also come up every now and then, to try new things and different approaches, or just marvel at previously undiscovered detail.

Oh, I forgot to mention my own disposition.

All my TDM time goes into mapping or other things like wiki article writing. Thus far I've played each mission only once with some exceptions. Small missions like trapped!, thieves and too late I've played several times. They are good for nice instant sneaking dose.. bigger missions require much more time which is quite seldom luxury.

I never ever play my own missions, I know them too well for them to be fun or challenging. Plus I've beta played them ad nauseaum.

But once I've got my current mapping work out, I'm gonna sit back and recycle most of the released missions. I'm especially interested in iron man gameplay without saving and with the need of dealing failed sneaking, a delightful challenge.

I don't play much... Once I get going I'm usually so inspired that I have to launch DR and start something myself. Most ideas are never finished, though.

Where are the REAL brits?! The one's we have are just brit-ish.

I've got to stop being so old-school and start using saves more often. I replay and replay all the time.

That's probably why my FM backlog is so big too.

The mission that I really really needed saves for was Stumpy's "Illusionist's Tower"... which sadly I deleted the saves because I wanted to upgrade to v1.03...

With T2 FMs I have a few favorites that I replay over and over.

I imagine it will be like that for TDM as more FMs come out.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

Same here. Though I started replaying Knighton's again, and found new spots I hadn't gone before. :)

Yeah, I like to replay my favorite missions, but also the others when it's necessary (playtesting). But every time I play, I put new restrains on myself. First playthrough is really basic. I save frequently, because I don't know yet how the AI will react to a bust. (Maybe they get stuck in all sorts of funky places) But then I try iron man, ghosting or disabled lightgem et cetera. I never played "kill everyone" or "blackjack everyone". That could be a scope for future playthroughs, albeit not as challenging.

Oh, yeah, I forgot: I tend to replay missions with a lot of rooftops (or general climbing) a lot. Like, a whole lot. So please build more of them.

I've got a backlog of at least 10 missions I haven't played yet. I think the most recent one I played through (on expert) was the NHAT campaign. I haven't replayed any of those I played, except Thief's Den, Saintlucia and my own during testing.

I don't think I have played more than 5 missions - all my time goes into coding, wiki, or the forums.

I replay missions quite often.

Sometimes I like to try to refine the way I play to be as stealthy and efficient as possible.

Other times I just like to try things out differently or just making up silly extra tasks for myself. For example, "all KO'd guards must be shoved under tables" or "eat all food available and stuff the leftovers in this desk/chest/lockbox".

The FAQ wiki is almost a proper FAQ now. Probably need to spin-off a bunch of the "remedies" for playing older TDM versions into their own article.

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!
