LDAsh 52
You can 'open URL' with SMPlayer, or download with Freemake. Sometimes I get errors with SMPlayer but that has nothing to do with age-restriction, and sometimes Freemake has audio issues but that's been very rare.

Destined 614
I would say the cop is just doing his job. He asks for the driver's licence and the driver just refuses, because he sees no reason why he should. In Germany you can always be asked your licence without any reason, so I don't get why the driver is pissed. Just show you f***ing licence and be done with it. In my opinion the driver is in the wrong here.

kano 123
https://youtu.be/wLtUKi9pybw?t=282 Why oh why do people steer in the direction of danger, instead of the opposite way (to avoid it)? Note that I am not immune from this. When playing games, I frequently find myself accidentally strafing in the direction of projectiles when I should be moving the opposite way. This person would have been fine if they had viered left instead of right, into the oncoming path of the guy.
Destined 614
Well, in a situation like this, people just do without thinking. If you have never been in a similar situation, your brain just takes a random direction. If the driver gets into the same situation again, it is quite possible that the brain will decide to go into the other direction. The other problem is, the driver could not know in which direction the other driver will try to evade, so this was more of a "two people try to evade each other in the same direction and stand awkwardly in front of each other" situation. Just with cars...

kano 123
"People clicked the red X, but the free offer was about to expire, so we just forced it onto them." lol If I did that, it would be criminal. But corporations do not commit crimes, they only make mistakes. And it is only a "mistake" when their bad behavior doesn't earn them enough to offset the penalties (if any)! Anderson 316
Genius 1 Quote "I really perceive that vanity about which most men merely prate — the vanity of the human or temporal life. I live continually in a reverie of the future. I have no faith in human perfectibility. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active — not more happy — nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. The result will never vary — and to suppose that it will, is to suppose that the foregone man has lived in vain — that the foregone time is but the rudiment of the future — that the myriads who have perished have not been upon equal footing with ourselves — nor are we with our posterity. I cannot agree to lose sight of man the individual, in man the mass."... - 2 July 1844 letter to James Russell Lowell from Edgar Allan Poe.
kano 123
For one of the first (the first?) beat-em up games ever, this looks pretty sophisticated. Running, sitting on downed enemies and punching them, knocking them off the map, throwing them into each other, etc. Edited February 10, 2018 by kano

kano 123
Not an expert negotiator or anything like that, but I think this cop did a shitty job trying to talk her down. https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e40_1493069063#comment_page=4 Instead of constantly disagreeing with her (you're not, you're not, you're not), he should have tried to use reason. Throwing it in the person's face that they're wrong without any explanation as to why is likely to only escalate things. Also, this isn't like diffusing a bomb that's on a set timer. Talking someone out of suicide can't be rushed. The slower you take things, the more successful you're likely to be. Taking things too quickly will only cause escalation. Try talking to them about (other things). Ask them if they want something to eat/drink. Slowly make a connection with them and then move up from there. kano 123
Funny glitch in this game: There is an enemy next to a half-way checkpoint. If you get the checkpoint, but you don't kill the enemy, then, whenever you respawn, the enemy kills you instantly, over and over again. You're screwed. lol
kano 123
Always fun to see people push things further than they were designed to go... frame rate is very good, but he's "cheating", by using a custom made cartridge with a more powerful processor that's doing the work. Many old console games worked this way; shipping with co-processors to augment the system. Impressive skills either way. Edited April 23, 2018 by kano
