Playing Mission 1 at easy difficulty.  Sorry, but I'm a bit of completionist for optional objectives.

I see the locked area where the paddle is, where the key to that area?

Curiosity question: I found the painting with the "9" code and the painting with the "3" code, where is the painting with the "6" code?

I couldn't find the nr.3 painting, so I guessed that number.

Edit: In picture 1 I killed him by drowning. I found that sometimes it does trigger after killed by drowning, but not always.

 

In your EFX version 1 file for mission 1 you have set "echo time" 0.06 on some occasion, but the documentation (wiki)says: value range is likely between 0.075 and 0.25, expressed in seconds. If this is true your values are too low.

I did personally find the mission too big to not include a map. I found it to be a bit of a maze at times. Maybe I should've drawn my own map.

"3" code painting: Go to the room with the innkeeper's desk, just south of there is the big room with the giant statue of a rather scary monster and the "public" staircase to the 2nd floor, take that staircase up, in the northwest corner upstairs is a table, a couple bookcases, and the "3" painting.

I actually appreciate missions that confuse with their complex geometry. It can be frustrating, but it's all part of figuring things out. YMMV.

@JackFarmer i Found a bug in this mission. It turns out that you can turn off the camera screen near the scroll on the wall that states that once the camera is turned on, it cannot be turned off and the technician will have to fix that button in the first mission. Besides that, you can turn on the elevator in the first mission without having to install a fuse! The way to do it is easy, just blackjack the camera screen on/off button and blackjack the button that indicates floor I/II on the elevator. To do it silently just stick the scroll to the button (press R like dropping an item from the inventory but don't drop it) and point that to the button

i know it sounds like cheating

Can someone give me a hint on where to find Wilkinsons's compass in the first mission? It's the only thing I can't find.

Edit: Ok, nevermind, I feel stupid now. 😂 To anyone also having trouble finding the compass: The dead obvious hint is in the readable where the objects you have to find are described. ;)

Nice mission, only an slight issue in the last chapter, in part of the tunnels I experimented a strong drop down to 4-5 FPS but only in some tunnels. The rest flawless and somewhat tricky, very nice mission.

Hmm, interesting. I know The Painter's Wife mission updates the map as you traverse it (it shows you where you are on the map). So I guess that technique could be extended to actually color in the whole map as you travel.

as usual i´m trying to supreme Ghost 
The first attempt was as a klatremus   Norwegian-style (kleptomaniac) and I ended up with
5Moos / 2Gas / 3Seil / 10Wasser /3Breitkopf / 2Blitzmine / 5Blitzbombe / 6Heiltränke 
all Keys and additional stuff --- I´m curious - is there something left behind ?
second as strikt supreme Ghost - there was only needed
Room-Keys 2/3/4 and Gambling-Room left ; but also needed the vanished SewerEntryKey
and the 2keys to the basments Store-Rooms

But !!!    at the end i encountered something strange : 
@JackFarmer   to end the Mission 1  :  there is no need to trigger the Elavator Objective !
                             But ! --- one has to use the fuse - to enable the Elavator !
                             Without use of the the fuse - will not be revealed - mission complete 😁
As a strict SupGhost, I was glad that it's still possible without (fuse) - but the mission didn´t end !

Yeah that's an automap. You can configure the automap to work that way. Obstorte made a demo map for that that you can download on the forum to test it:

So I ran into a problem in the water works. I have both the strange key and mysterious key. I opened the 1st gate with one of them, but neither key will work on the 2nd gate :( . All my ojectives are complete except the head. Now what do I do? This didn't happen while beta testing...

exactly what i thought. I'm trying to repproduce that bug in another fan mission right now

 

*or someone else here who is a darkradiant whiz might be able to replicate it, I can't remember the name of the fan mission that has a special mission to activate the button with certain conditions so that the button can be activated

 

*edit : let's see if i could encounter the same bug in mission 2 and so on

      I'm back! Happy new years, TDM folks!
      I brought with me a quick update for my first FM that fixes up a lot of small issues that didn't get caught in beta testing. I didn't exactly expect it to take me nearly 9 months to release a patch, but it's been a wild year to say the least. Teaching, finishing up my Master's of Education, and all manner of other events forced me to drop out of the anniversary FM contest and ate up all my time, but I'm back again in a comfortable position to start catching up on all the new FMs. I may even start work on another spooky project of greater length and difficulty in the coming year.
