  1. In the download menu, missions are marked with * for updates and # for translations, but this is not visible in longer titles. Perhaps it would be better to mark it at the beginning of the title, or at the edge of the menu.
  2. Not so long ago I found what could make a pretty good profile picture and decided to try it out on these new forums. But I couldn't find a button anywhere that would let me change it. I asked on Discord and it seems Spooks also couldn't find anything anywhere. So I logged into an old alternative account and, lo and behold, that account has a button. This is on the first screen I get when I: 1) click on my account name in the top-right of the browser -> 2) click on 'profile'. Compared to my actual account: Are you also missing this button on your account? It'd be very much appreciated if that functionality could be restored to any of the affected accounts.
  3. Hi, I need to know what the code is to use Spoiler Tags. I am using my tablet and I don't have the options to use anything, like spoiler tags, quote tags, text changes etc. Thanks
  4. Story: Whass’at? Who goes?! No…never mind, must’ve been rats. Or one’a them grubbers again. ALWAYS with the grubbers in this city… Wait, what?! I knew it! It’s not rodents or whatever grubbers are (Mollusks? Cephalopods?), but a taffin’ pack of treacherous, skulking thieves! Well I’m Guard Captain The Mike, letting you know that you’ll not be going an inch further! You probably wanted to see what was inside the mansion of the Dennison family, didn’t’cha?! Well, your black little thieving hearts will grieve to hear that his famous jeweled scepter has already been stolen by Conall, the notorious Master Thief. Not my fault, by the way! Not every man can be alert 100-percent of the time! Plus, at the moment of the theft, me an’ Benny were locked in an intense thumb war, and that’s not something a prideful man can just walk away from! As for Conall…well, forgive my villainous laughter and mustache twirling (seriously though, I can’t help it—it’s a condition), but the guy is just as doomed as all of you! What? Were you planning on nicking one of his old maps and following him to the likes of Nilbog? As if you could survive those murky waters, where venomous snakes and poisonous man-eating plants are two of your LEAST pressing concerns. Hell, I have a two year Associates Degree in Advanced Guarding with a minor in Rat Noise Recognition and even I wouldn’t last one Builder-damned second in that haunted place! Or maybe you wanted to follow him to the Shadepool district of the City? Scale its interconnected rooftops, hop from window to window uncovering one horrifying buried secret after another—an that’s before you even got to the towering Hammerite cathedral or the hideout of the mage assassins! Yar, I did indeed say “mage assassins,” and I’m aware how taffin’ incredible that sounds, but my Guard Captain training has taught me to resist the urge to throw up my hands in the Trickster horns—the universal symbol of all things most Metal. But…no, I know your type! You were planning on just sticking around here and robbing our poor dancing hobos of their deer legs, weren’t you?! You’re all even more depraved than I thought! Well, I’m afraid there’ll be no perilous adventuring for you lot on this night! You’re all headed to a nice cozy jail cell, where you’ll have naught to do but lean back and think about the incredible adventure you’re all most certainly NOT about to partake in. Only…the local jailer likes to lean against the bars with his key ring dangling perilously close to the openings, so no swiping them! We’re on the honor system here! -The Mike, Captain of the Guard Download Links: (The mission is very large for aT2 campaign, weighing in at nearly 900MB) Google Drive: - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwICnGCuzF1ASW81WFczZlg4Ym8/view?usp=sharingDropbox - https://www.dropbox.com/s/floe1195jpdpjg6/GodbreakerV1.0.zip?dl=0Thief Missions: - http://thiefmissions.com/m/GodbreakerDarkfate: - http://download.darkfate.org/fan-missions/Thief2/godbreaker/GodbreakerV1.0.zipTaffer's Paradise: - http://www.taffersparadise.co.uk/thief2mission/GodbreakerV1.0.zipLoot List: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwICnGCuzF1AaHUzNXpkN1ZnRk0Notes: Please use the follwing threads for mission comments and help - Mission 1Mission 2Missions 3 & 4

Yes it was in a discussion where someone was saying how unhappy they are with the way game companies grant themselves permission to do whatever they like to your PC and personal info today. I pointed out that giving up games completely is an unnecessarily overkill solution when there are free games like TDM to play.

Honestly the mod/Indie genre is still really booming right now. And they aint got no reason to do shady invasive privacy bs.

  6. Hi guys, through the "cheats" topic I got the idea, that it would be quite useful, if there were tags for missions (the post was about removing the killing restriction in some missions to suit the prefered play style). I don't know how easy or difficult this is, but with them, it would be quite convenient to pick missions with playstyles, environment, etc one does want to use. This could also be expanded to other mission properties. I remember a discussion about climbable drains, handles on doors, that cannot be picked and other things the map author chooses for himself. That way these things would be clearer and as I said before, it is easier to choose missions with playstyles that suit oneself. What do think?

Did the TDM team removed D3's internal Joypad feature? (tdm works only with systemkey binders for joysicks)

  11. hi! i'm from doom3world.org and i've posted there this: http://uploading.com...7/portalsky.7z/ it's a change in the skybox code, it lets you create skyboxes that follow the player moves (a la HL2) but without scripting. i've added two new entities: - clasical skybox the skybox from ROE, doesn't follow the player, this is for compativility with old maps, uses the classic entity. - global skybox this skybox follows he player since he started the map, if you retrigger it or you come from another skybox you will get the skybox in it's current position, wich will be always correct since the player started the map because it continously follows the player - local skybox this skybox follows the player from the point where the skybox is set in Darkradiant, if you retrigger the skybox it will start from the same point set in Darkradiant. so it will always go back to that specified point while following from there the player moves. there is also an option for changeing the amount of scale the player moves are divided by with the keyarg "scale" wich is set to 16 (skybox is 16 times smaller then, but changeing this you could get a different scaling) keep in mind I've done this from the gpl source of doom, you can test in in doom, it's not addpated in darkmod. i've added all this new skybox source code straight from the gpl, you should just copy and paste it and compile it, there's already the linux binaries in there though, and there is also a testmap. credits: new skybox code: 7318 old skybox code adpated from ROE: Neurological, Ivan_the_B thread in doom3world (although they don't seem to be that interested...) http://www.doom3worl...hp?f=56&t=25275 what do you think? are you interested in this?

I've found it difficult to find where TDM is listed as #1 on Greenlight. This page ( https://steamcommunity.com/greenlight/ ) has no ranked listing. This one ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=858048394 ) has no visible rank or stats page. Is it my script blocker?

  13. You gotta have fucking "taffer", man... not fucking "fucker"... and I'm serious. THIS (suggested by the RPS write-up today) will be a 10 out of 10 on the disappointment scale...
