ROFL :D

Here is another one, but be warned, as one youtube commenter said it:

Great movrs, however the voice and guys face is going to fuel my nightmares for the next week or two.

Two Belgian guys, the won (or at least participated) in the Belgian "Begium has Talent" show. Incredible talent:

(I think they are Belgian, but I cannot find this info on their facebook page, nor their Itunes page, nor on Youtube. Strange, how the web has avolved, where a simple "we are ... and we do ..." is nowhere, but useless-for-me "user comments" swamp everything :) So if they are Danish instead, my apologies :D

Dubstep-Robotdance, never gets old. :) I like how these dancers don't use mainstream dubstep, like all the others do... Pretty cool and creative robotdancers, albeit not the most talented.

If you're one of the four people who haven't heard of this game, here is your entertainment for the day.

Your truck is glued to the ground but it bounces like crazy if you drive off the map. Apparently though the opponent in this game doesn't actually move! I wonder if the developers could have gotten sued because it was listed as a racing game but you don't race? lol Funnier, there is a patch that causes your opponent to drive, but he still stops just shy of the finish line. I refuse to believe this was done by accident because its too funny to be a bug.

You can download and play this game. I like to drive around sometimes in it, just for the laughs at how bad it is.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

THIS is ... MUSIC?? :o

Yup, Dubstep! :D If you google that, you will most likely end up with a track by Skrillex. That's mainstream Dubstep (charts), but if you search a little more, you will find real dubstep, like in this video... ;) Although I have to say, the score seems to be specially written for the show. It is somewhat too broken...

The sound is of course not from the concert. It's a parody recorded by a talented guy named Andy Rehfeldt. He does his own arrangements of popular songs. Usually turns them into metal, but he also turns metal songs into pop, jazz, reggae. Some of them are really brilliant, especially when the original vocals are left. Some of my favourite:

That fat Assassin's Creed video made me LOL, even though it's 5:30am and my wife and kids are sleeping in nearby rooms

Haha this dubset is just a strange thing. I remember a song from a collegue in which all happened was a woman saying "printer jam" and there were such strange sounds coming out of the speakers like in this video above, and he also moved to the music like the guy in the fart video and I thought "What the hell is this silly and you look like having an epileptic shock" So now we finally got music without music and even without lyrics. You crazy people! :D

Hell yeah Arcturus, that Andy Rehfeld stuff is way awesome!

i really wonder how he isolated only the lyrics wtf :o

I recently began to miss this game. So, I decided to start re-playing it. I have fond memories of playing the PSX version over and over back in the 90s when I was away at school and the gameplay still holds up nicely today. It is all about inventory management and conservation. Since I haven't played it in almost a decade, I started with the PSX version. I figured if I jumped right into the remake (which I also have) I would get my ass kicked quite badly because it is WAY harder than the original. The video above is of the remake. This game is definitely in my top-ten list.

If there were gameplay mods for this game, it would be great to see item boxes that don't carry your supplies automatically for you, and removal of the ability to slowly change inventory while under attack.

In case you have missed PSY Gangnam Style, look it up on Youtube. And stop hiding under a rock! Anyway, here is one of the more brilliant parodies of it - and its brilliantly done:

And here is one from New Zealand Got Talent, which is really cool - it reminds me a bit of the 90ies and 80ies from the music style and is performed brilliantly, too:

There is only one word for it: Noice!

I just uploaded a new version of the Visible Player Hands mod. It's been updated for TDM 2.13 and has new animations. Check out the post if you're interested!

I moved from Manjaro Linux (rolling release) to Linux Mint (LTS). One of the reasons was that I found the updates a bit too often and long. But now on Mint I get updates every day, although they're usually small updates.

I'd like to track my level design progress a bit more often now, so I'm using the feed in my profile here.
I've been working intensively on Springheel's YouTube course over the past few days. I'm currently up to lesson 8. There is so much information that needs to be processed and practiced.
I have started to create my own house. As I don't have the imagination to create a good floor plan, I grabbed a floor plan generator from Watabou and experimented with it. I chose a floor plan that I will modify slightly, but at least I now have an initial idea.
I used two guards as a measuring tape: The rooms are two guards high. It turned out that I can simply double the number of boxes in DarkRadiant in grid size 8 that are drawn in the floor plan.
I practiced the simplest things on the floor plan first. Drawing walls, cutting walls, inserting doors, cutting out frames, creating VisPortals, furnishing rooms.
I have had my first success in creating a book. Creating a book was easier than I thought. I have a few ideas with books. The level I'm creating will be more or less a chill level, just for me, where I'll try out a few things. I don't have an idea for my own mission yet. I want to start small first.
For the cellar, I wanted to have a second entrance, which should be on the outside. I'm fascinated by these basement doors from the USA, I think they're called Bilco basement doors. They are very unusual in Germany, but this type of access is sometimes used for deliveries to restaurants etc., where barrels can be rolled or lifted into the cellar.
I used two Hatch Doors, but they got completely disoriented after turning. I have since got them reasonably tamed. It's not perfect, but it's acceptable.
In the cellar today I experimented with a trap door that leads to a shaft system. The rooms aren't practically finished yet, but I want to continue working on the floor plan for now. I'll be starting on the upper floor very soon.

On a lighter note, thanks to my cat-like reflexes, my superior puzzle skills and my perfect memory, I was able to beat the remastered version of "Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation" in a new superhuman record time of 23 h : 35 m, worship me!
