  2. Wow is what comes to my mind playing this mission for about 1/2 an hour. I'm playing version 1 downloaded from google drive today. I'm using version 2.11 on Linux Mint

  3. I would like to say I also experienced this bug, but given I already made a post about another bug, I didn't want to seem like I was finding bad things to say about such a great mission.

  4. Fantastic mission, thank you very much. I played on Expert. I managed to I had a couple of bodies of people I'd knocked out which, when I picked them up and dropped them, behaved like they were falling through water, even though they weren't. Other than that I don't recall any technical issues. What a ride!

  7. That's exactly how the latest dev build should work. With SRT, the sound is extended until the latest end time of all elements. Is it not working as expected?

  8. Surrounded by greedy noblemen and treacherous siblings, Lady Kamila Leicester gets more than she bargains for after acquiring an ancient tome and performing the dark rituals within. Bikerdude, Wellingtoncrab, Dragofer, and I proudly present Grayman’s FM “Seeking Lady Leicester.” Notes - TDM 2.11 or later is REQUIRED to play this mission. You can get the latest TDM version via the installer or here. - Seeking Lady Leicester was originally a work-in-progress given to the Dark Mod community per Grayman’s wishes after his passing and was initially adopted by Bikerdude before Dragofer, Amadeus, and Wellingtoncrab joined to complete the FM. -This FM does NOT support any unofficial gameplay patch or mod. The use of such a patch and/or mod could break things in this FM. You've been warned. - "Story" subtitles are available for this FM. Simply go to Settings --> Audio and select "Story" or "On" for the subtitles setting. - This FM may be more hardware intensive than normal. LOD settings can be set below "Normal" to improve performance on low-end machines by disabling certain features. - This FM implements the func_peek mechanic, allowing players to peek through any door that has a keyhole on it by leaning forward. PLEASE NOTE: This function has been known to cause crashes for a small number of players in the past, likely due to using the 32-bit version of TDM. At no point in this mission is it required to use the func_peek mechanic; it is purely optional, so feel free not to use it. Download Version 1.1 This FM is available for download via the in-game mission downloader, or here via Google Drive. Promotional Screenshots ThiefGuild Thread Credits A big thanks goes out to Noelker and Goldchocobo for their wonderful voice work with the briefing and conversations, JackFarmer and itsPapiD for their fantastic briefing video, and nbohr1more for his story contributions and writing one particular gameplay feature that I won’t spoil here but you can read about in the readme.txt. An even bigger thank you goes out to our beta testers: nbhor1more, Daft Mugi, Silverwolf, Havoc, Datiswous, Cambridge Spy, Aluminumhaste, Thebigh, Ate0ate, Acolyte6, Kalavi, JoeBarnin. Thank you all very much for your fantastic feedback and tireless efforts as this FM evolved throughout the course of development! 9. It is a nice design, but i can be even nicer. Just do a google image search for "steampunk calculator". (or "steampunk keyboard")

  10. This is way better IMO, you think you can replace the numbers with some more old looking like this? I think you should search for alternatives replacing the "X" and the "O"...they look like you travelled to a parallel universe and stole it from the there available Playstation 2 controller. Thank you for working on this item!

  11. Thanks for the feedback! I'm in the process of fixing remaining issues and missing features. Since you expressed wanting to use it I'll be making and including rustic skins as well for the next version. The sound is the keypad going into input mode, it can be disabled via spawnarg if you want. As for a screen showing the player's input, that would require a GUI setup, doable but would require massive changes I didn't have planned so I hope it's alright if I skip that... in my campaign I'll be justifying it as a security feature, someone standing behind you can't see the code you typed in nor the number of digits, you have to know the full sequence then confirm manually. Here's what I have so far skin wise, let me know how you think it looks. Remember you can use unlit skins if you don't want glowing numbers but rather have them painted, this is just the default configuration: Once I post the update I'll also provide a better description of how to set the spawnargs for the result you want, maybe default some of it in the prefab.

  12. I guess I fell out of sync with where we were. I'll be looking forward to trying it out.

  13. I'm pretty indifferent to most of these settings, but I would actually really like to see the blackjack helper as a setting so that players can choose to turn it on/off

  14. Interesting, although I'm not sure what to make of that. One of my favorite games (The Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena) was published by Atari, and, they don't even seem to care to keep the activation servers running much. Or remove/change the copy protection, which doesn't work at all on Windows 11. I really hope that Nightdive delivers at the end of May... I'm not one of the shit storm crowd (it's absolutely horrible on the Steam forums...), but, 7 years of development is a long time, and delaying the release obviously has become a bit of a habit, to say the least.

  16. looking forward to trying it out on my second playthrough in SS2 now and im getting the hang of the interface and skills the map is not really helpfull though, you need pen and paper to mark places you need to go to. The map actually has a feature for setting named waypoints but the resolution is atrocious and damn hard to see on modern monitors so yeah... atleast my new build is smashing rumblers left and right and i went for some fun with neural restructuring (kinda like a be my friendly assasin and go kill that monster for me power hehe).

  19. So, there was a typo in the model path of that piece of furniture, an additional backslash, but what was really weird is that even with that typo present - "//" - the model still worked perfectly fine for a majority of us. The working theory (which could be wrong, I don't know enough about the engine) is that when loading the FM from an uncompressed format (which we were doing), the engine ignores the "//" typo and the model works correctly. When playing off the compressed version however, the model path fails and you get the black cube. That's the theory anyway. But the important thing is that it's fixed now

  21. Thanks for release! Will definetly play it on my current machine. Yesterday i was testing my retro hardware and was surprised by 5 fps outdoor It's a laptop from 2009 with C2d CPU clocked at 3000mhz and Geforce 260m (close to 250 desktop). p.s. zero gpu load is a bug. In reality it's working hard!
