Hey all. I spoke to Biker and @nbohr1more about this but wanted to ask everyone participating.

I had some time free up in October, potentially allowing me to finish Volta 3 for this. 

Would it be fair to enter this late? The mission's been in the works for a long time. 

At the end of the day, I just want to celebrate 15 years of TDM with everyone . Either by participating in this, or just releasing Volta 3 later in the month, around Halloween this year.

@kingsal I say shoot! The point of the contests are to get more missions to the table.

Real life has been insane for me this year. I should still get my mission in, but it'll be another bite-sized mansion heist. Nothing spectacular, but I kind of like the "2010 TDM" retro look I've achieved.

Phew! Made it with 3~4 days to spare!

Could someone give it a quick play or two to make sure it's not broken? It's not big or complex enough to merit a full beta testing campaign but one person giving it a brief sanity check to ensure I haven't overlooked a mission killer would be very welcome. It should only take 20-25 minutes for a first playthrough.

Hey, thanks for the offer but I already got a bunch of comments and was about to actually release it later today. So you'll be able to play the official version tonight. Make sure to give me a ping if you need your mission tested.

Okay that's all fine and I'm happy you'll be able to make the fixes and release it today. Thank you very much for creating a neat small mission (I prefer those over the long and complex ones)

I like missions of all sizes, lengths, and complexities. What I get a little tired of sometimes is every mission seemingly being a huge, sprawling masterpiece- as much as I admire those, sometimes I just want to spend a quick half hour breaking into Lord Frobbington's mansion and grabbing his treasure.

For me it's the same. I got time issues so I only got maybe an hour maximum in a week to play. So if I start a huge mission I don't know what I did the week afterwards. Missions I can play through in one session are preferred now. Maybe times will change as the kid grows older and I get more time again.

(I won't need any betatesting, the map should be fine)

To my knowledge, Kingsal has already petitioned for an extension so all mappers are eligible to submit late ( within reason ).

If you don't make the deadline, you'll miss out of inclusion on the 15yr article ( but I'll update it to include the late-comers ).

Hopefully we'll have at least 1 more release before the 17th so players can start the celebration with a bang

Yes, normally end of the day 11:59 PM PST would be the cutoff so you can keep working. See above about the ability to ask for an extension too.

By the official rules, any mission posted before 11:59PM PST ( 2:59AM EDT ) will be part of the contest.

Otherwise, you will need to ask permission to have your mission included in the contest here in this thread

where other participants can decide whether that's fair.
