Oh Germany, you and your video blocking ways.

It's the GEMA which wants all the money and youtube refuses.

I want to play all of those lol. I've played some of them, but I missed a LOT of good ones.
-
Cool. Disorientation deserves its spot there. I know most of these but there a few I have yet to try.
-
Haha, good to see that you're Anonymous approved. Well done!

Those are the coordinates of a single vert that has caused him a map leak for weeks... That or the loot goals

I'm assuming time travel is involved and those numbers are the years of some classic red wine vintages he picked up.

I get the following error message when loading the wiki: " Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/tdmwiki/public_html/includes/objectcache/SqlBagOStuff.php on line 195" Anyone confirm?
- Show previous comments 1 more
-
Yes. And some pages also give me the error: Fatal error: Call to a member function numRows() on a non-object in /home/tdmwiki/public_html/includes/objectcache/SqlBagOStuff.php on line 439
-
I see about five of those lines at the top of the page and then the rest of the wiki loads. ctrl-F5 doesn't fix it for me.
-
it something to do with updating php on a server but leaving the old settings for previous version which are not compatible with the new php version.

Oh man, the guy is a commedian! Very cool indeed (even though I never liked dungeon crawlers in my childhood).

And a new, more stable version is out: http://www.filedropper.com/grimoiredemov12

A bit late to the starting line, but currently at 1500 brushes...

I think the Phaedo has to be my favorite dialog. "He who contemplates existence through the medium of ideas, sees them only through a glass darkly".

heheh, the laser show at the grand opening was a joke. And you can go up in the elevator, but the cheeky gits have the stunning audacity to charge £25a time..
-
@jay pettit: There is an uncanny resemblance, plus it is an example of a symbol of power ripping up the city fabric.
@Bikerdude: I can probably think of a hundred better ways to spend Ł25 in London...

Running Spybot on your PC is always a bit like seeing a beautiful apple, and then realising it is crawling with worms and bugs. Amazing how much stuff accumulates even if you are careful.

I use malwarebytes but the last time I ran it, it also found nothing and it had been 6mo. or so since I'd run it.
-
Both Spybot and Malwarebytes are not required if you have descent branded AV and are careful. I did a scan and what it found was next to to pointless, some flash objects and a cookies.
-
Considering Steam's webpage got nailed not too long ago, you can't "be careful" when even legit sites can become attack vectors.

Wowa, comment #402 even said the same!

Yeah, that's the thing that hits me. Some people prefer linearity, okay. But to claim Doom-style maps are somehow "too complicated" or "not fun"? That weirds me out.
-
...it's not like Doom is rocket science or something.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/07/16/is-metacritic-ruining-the-games-industry Pretty good article.

The game companies used to be good at controlling the small number of Magazines that offered reviews. Now, with so many review sites, they have changed strategies. I am not sure that the article really reflects the true root of mediocrity here. Were publishers ever willing to risk divisive artistic games? At least now, there is a fact-check against pure shilling. Sounds more like a critic raging against the the dilution of his craft. Point taken about the poor deals given to developers over t...
-
some are being ruined, seen loads of reviews where the first bits of text read 'i dont like this type of game so i've given it a low score' so if a games company only see's the score then that game is likely to get binned.

Speaking of IGN, holy crap is this terrible: http://corp.ign.com/

Awesome.

Looked so... Rough. I hope they get to complete it though.

I read that as "SSX 2-like indie stealth game" and got all excited about snowboard stealth.

http://dukope.com/ Papers, Please! I am pretty sure I have played this game before. Romania in 1986, was it?

It's got a black humor. Just the very premise... You play an official in a police state, haha, so wrong... Only an indie game could get away with that. FWIW, I remember feeling for E.Europe in the '80s & being endlessly fascinated to meet & talk to people from there... And now we can. =)
-
The premise seems like something out of a joke. "What would be the most boring game ever? How about dealing with bureaucratic paper work of some communist republic?" A developer that can turn that into something interesting is a god!
-
Great game. And Republia Times cool too!

Ha ha! I'm still working on my Halloween Contest mission! I've come to the conclusion that I'm physically and mentally incapable of completing a mission in 2 weeks ...

I am not a machi.... ... Anyway, I really am not a machine. Started this mission in October 2014, and didn't progress with it through most of the Spring and Summer. Things are going fine now, however.

Gecko's new texture pack looks cool in game:
-
I'd say some things look nice, but some things really don't!! It's still great though Thief can do HD textures now...
-
I think for te most part he has a good eye for what matches the old textures, I did notice a bunch of miss-alignments and such, but I imagine these will get ironed out in testing.
-
Some of them do act as phenomenal replacements, but others are so drastically different that they make for a completely different feeling. Still, very nice.

T2: Godbreaker - level 2 is excellent swamp level, level 4 is one of the great, expansive rooftop missions. Some problems, but highly recommended!
